We stayed in August 2023 and found the apartment really comfy, spacious and well equipped. The location was great, being 5 minutes walk from the magic J bus which is free and runs every 10 minutes. It's really quiet and the garden is beautiful. The host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Fresh bread in the morning was delicious.

Well equipped and large apartment. Very friendly and accommodating host. The apartment is walkable distance from the cable car at Pitscherkaffer and we were able to ride to the top and walk above Innsbruck. There is a reasonably sized indoor pool at the apartment that we were able to make use of. The village of Igls is a lovely quiet characterful place.

What an amazing setting to our little family holiday. We stayed in ground floor apartment which was very clean, spacious and had a lovely outdoor area.
Very close to tourist info, local supermarket and few bar/restaurants. Had food in the Sport Hotel one evening which I would definitely recommend.
We started each day with fresh bread that can be ordered each evening for delivery in the morning. We would then decide what our plans were for the day and then pop to the tourist info who would advise how to get everywhere, which buses etc.
We would recommend the Innsbruck cards for families, definitely worth every penny for entrances fees and public transport.

Our stay at Waldhaus was incredible! Our room was beautiful and spacious and the location of the property was the best of all worlds! You are settled back in a quiet spot, but you are 5 mins walking to a restaurant, cafes, and the bus stop. 10 mins walking to the grocery store. The bus comes every 10 mins and takes you into the heart of Innsbruck within about 15 mins. You can do all the outdoor activities AND all the city fun in Innsbruck (which is incredible!) We rented a van, but you truly do not need a car. Our kids LOVED this property - especially the rock wall, ping pong table, pool, and play structure in the back of the property. We had our in-laws with us for a few nights and it was still comfortable and spacious with 6 of us in the 2 room unit!
The ONLY (and I mean only) thing I would have liked was a few more towels and extra pillows. And the beds were a bit stiff. But truly, that is it! Everything else was phenomenal. The hosts are so kind, responsive, and thoughtful!

Wolf family was wonderful! We had 5 comfortable apartments for ourselves, children and grandchildren. Garden is large and beautiful and we were able to grill meals on the terrace. Fresh baked breads are delivered to order each morning. A really fine experience👏👏😊

Wonderful apartment in a very quiet place. 300 m from a bus that takes you to the ski slopes in 10 minutes or to the city center in 20 minutes. Also the bus runs every 10 minutes. There is a supermarket 10 minutes walk away (Spar) and the scenery is simply fantastic. The apartment very well equipped. You can not ask for more. We have been to Waldhaus Igls several times and each time it was beautiful. We can highly recommend it. The apartments are very clean and generous. Equipped with everything you need - everything is thought of, from the extra pillow on the beds to the wool blanket for sitting outside in the evening on the beautiful terrace and much more. The garden is a great, beautiful park, with tree house and slide. Ideal for small children. We really enjoyed the garden and the terrace with our little granddaughter.
The connection by bus to Innsbruck is very good (every 15 minutes). Even if you come by car (free parking in front of the house) it is much more practical and convenient to take the bus to the city.
Bread service, reception, handling all five stars. We'll come more often.

We like to keep our grounds beautiful for all guests to enjoy, and weather conditions in the mountains play into the timing of when this work can be done. You are correct that as far as scheduling a sauna time during the summer months, we ask our guests to let us know in advance should they wish to use it. There are multiple ways to contact us and we're happy to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Your family has used the sauna at different times every day (as early as 7am), and for a house our size it is not feasible nor environmentally responsible to run the sauna all day during the summer. Everything was quite great, the environment was incredibly beautiful and the rooms were large and perfect. I had a good time with my girlfriend. At check-in we also got the 'Innsbruck Welcome-Card' and with it you can do everything from take the bus for free to discounts for many things.
