On every trip there is usually one stay that stands out, and this time this charming traditional style pension was the one. A very attractive exterior with cascading flowers from the balconies, and inside lots of authentic traditional Austrian décor. A really warm welcome from the host dressed in traditional costume, a charming set of rooms including a balcony, and... More

With free wifi and lovely breakfast here I rarely venture into higher category hotels in Kitz. Just returned from my first winter holiday at the Muhlbergerhof since the owners failed to agree terms with Inghams. Going independently turned out to be easy. A cheap BA flight to Salzburg and then a personally recommended taxi company who provided super efficient transfers.... More

We have now visited some 5/6 times mainly over Christmas. A real gem and only a 5/10 min stroll into town. Our family have always been warmly welcomed by both Lenni and Gertrude and we will return in the not too distant future. A pleasant change from the glitz of many Kitzbuhel hotels.

Very clean and attractive pension in an ideal location just 5 mins from the centre of town. Excellent breakfast lovingly prepared by the grandmother, aided and abetted it would seem by a somewhat noisy 2 or 3 year old grandson ! The rooms are basic, although the shower was really excellent to be fair. What spoilt our stay however was... More

2 We stayed at the Muhlbergerhof Pension from 21 March 2009. At the end of the first day there we both felt cold and approached the owner (Gertrude) who barely listened to our concerns and said that her heating was on a system and it could not be changed. Another guest at the Pension said she found it so cold... More

We stayed at the Muhlbergerhof pension for one week on easter 2008 and it was a pleasant surprise. As you may know, if you are thinking of booking holidays in Kitzbuhel, it's not a cheap ski destination. The ski pass for one week is 198 euros, so we decided to save some money on the accommodation and booked the 2*... More
