Pension Sonne is an ideal location for cyclists; it is located in the Old Town and they have an easy-to-access room, (down three steps) for bike storage. If you are in Bregenz for the Festspiel, the stage is a pleasant 2 km or so cycle from Pension Sonne. The room was exactly as described; small with no private W.C. -...

A relaxed, family-run pension. It is located on a central pedestrian street in Bregenz. Our room had big windows looking out on the street, but there was almost no noise at night, so we slept well. The room was large and well-appointed. There were WCs on every floor, but the showers were all in one place on a different floor....

The facilities were very basic. Some bedrooms (like ours) did not have its own bathroom. The shared bathrooms though were clean and quite roomy (it was a room and not a cubicle). The breakfast was also quite basic but it was enough. The Pension though is in a very good location. It is right smack in the shopping street and...

We stayed here for one night for the Bregenz Festival and found the hotel was although not modern but was very clean. The location was very central but this unfortunately made the parking difficult but the staff pointed us to the closest multistory which was a 100 yards away. The room was pleasent and wifi was included, the Breakfast was...

Room 11 is right next to the office and you hear staff talking and if your window is open smell their smoking. Was quite noisy at times,...

We just stayed here while in Bregenz for the World Martial Arts tournament. It was in a great location in the pedestrian zone, close to many cafes, and close to Lake Constance, the bus and train station. We did not have a vehicle so not sure about parking. This is a B and B with shared bathrooms for the most...

Pension Sonne, Bregenz Austria Pros: 1.We had a nice room with plenty of space. 2.It is located on the Pedestrian Zone with a short walk to Lake Constance. 3.The receptionist was friendly in a brisk sort of way. Cons: 1.Too expensive for a pension. 2.You'll want your shower shoes. 3.Parking on street can be tricky. 4.Noise (talking, snoring) on floor...

“Rooms facing the street are good; because the pension is located in a shopping zone, it is very quite after the shops close.”
