In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

I was here before - and it remains impressive, from the reception over the rooms and the breakfast. All perfect? No, but this is rather a general Austrian problem: the very high level of tolerance for smokers makes that the entrance hall always stinks to smoke...

A truly magnificent hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout and near a lot of the main attractions. Our bedroom was very spacious with beautiful en-suite. Probably best room I’ve stayed in and I’ve stayed in many hotels. The staff really

I was in the mood to try some classic luxury and was then seduced by the hotel website's pictures. And I was right to choose it! The hotel offers first-class experience to their guests. Pros: First of all, the personnel is the best in their jobs! As long as I can even remember

Good solid hotel, very professional and helpful staff. Great city location and all the popular sites are within walking distance if you are fairly fit and mobile. We indulged in the Spa and a very relaxing spa massage for our aching muscles!!

Best thing about the hotel is the location. In the old town, beside Opera House and easy reach to Museum Quarter, Hofburg Palace, restaurants, cafes, shops, etc. Room was also great and staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend!

It depends what kind of restaurants you are looking for, there are a lot of choices around the hotel, if looking for something fast seafood you better try nordsea for lunch, for dinner if you want something different try Persian food in this resturant called Apadana, or if you looking for local Austrian food try Wienerin restaurant or Ofenloch, but you need to see some pictures of the meals on TripAdvisor

What is the best way to get to the hotel from the airport ?
I am always taking taxi from/to airport. In Vienna it was 35 Euro from airport at midnight and 50 from hotel in the afternoon which is illogical and I was obviously overcharged. With the advantage of hindsight I would have asked about the charge when taking the taxi at the hotel.

I used a taxi. Quick and easy to find, and fascinating to drive through Vienna. The hotel is very central so lots of sights along the way. Enjoy.
