Hotel has very good location. You cross the river and have it 10 min walking distance to the city center. Hotel offer standard service for this chain. Even though rooms were renovated they look like "retro" style. You can get breakfast there .Taxi to the airport is cca 45 EUR. Prices for the rooms are reasonable.

Excellent hotel location. Quiet and far from city noise. Close to Vienna innerstadt (you just have to cross the bridge over the Danube canal). Nice room but needs more lighting. Generous and delicious breakfast and menu. Free minibar including espresso. The hotel also offered us a free guide in the city for 2 hours. Her name was Sonia. She was...

The hotel is appeared to place extremely comfortable in order to go for working, resting, and walking: near to the city center and to the subway station for reaching the working place. Furthermore, there is a stop nearby for the bus in the airport.

Good room, sufficiently spacious and silent. Maybe a bit smaller if occupied by 2 persons. Limited choice of TV channels outside german-speaking. Very good breakfast buffet. No problem for check-in and -out. Very helpful staff at reception (printing boarding card, laundry on a public holiday). Well situated, close to metro, and also to city centre. Ratio price / quality very...

This is a typical Mercure, offering a great price value ratio. The location - while not bang in the center of "1. Bezirk" - is great and a lot of attractions can be reached on foot or by bus/underground located about 5 minutes walk away. Staff was friendly and efficient, and the public spaces looked convenient and clean. The room...

Good location in Vienna, close to old town. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. Room was on main road so a bit noisy. Good value for money and close to all the main sites. Staff helpful. Easy to find from metro.

Stayed here for 2 nights during our stay in Vienna. They hotel is fairly well located across the bridge from the old town and short walking distance to Stephanplatz. Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
