The hotel was close to the subway and other transports. Easy to arrive by train as we did, avoiding expensive cab fares. On the other hands it´s far from the town center, about 20 minutes by tram. Tram D passes right infront of the hotel so is very accesible. The hotel was old but confortable, with spacious rooms and a...

A small hotel with friendly staff. There was no fridge in the room and it smelled smoke, but the price was quite good for Vienna and there was a good tram connection to the center. Enjoyed the view of the nearby Spittelau tower and WU campus across the street.

This hotel is superb. I loved every moment that i stayed here. The service is always with a smile and you cannot distinguish at all that it is a 3 star hotel. I've been in 5 stars and the service was not that great. i would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. It has comfortable rooms, excellent service and amazing...

I attended a conference at Wien Universitaet and stayed in Hotel Alexander for a week. It was the perfect home-away-from-home! The service was impeccable; the staff answered many travel questions for me. (They even make great cappuccinos.) The room was quite spacious for one person, with comfortable beds, closet and hangers, large bathroom (shower gel included; no shampoo), and a...

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights, and picked it due to closeness to WU university. If you have meetings there it is perfect, as you just need to cross the street. the room looked quite dated, though it was quite clean. Breakfast was plenty, and had many options for all different tastes. We did have a problem that...

Stayed for one night, very quick c/in, friendly staff, quite large and clean rooms. Basic amenities in the room/bathroom, the hotel might use a bit of a renovation. The free WiFi is a very positive service, along with the breakfast which was quite okay, too. The hotel is in a quiet place in Vienna. No room service, no minibar, but...

Polite staff, clean and comfortable rooms, good beds and a nice bathroom. Enough space for your luggage! Quiet ambiance. Carpet everywhere. Just about 300 m away from the metrostation and tram to the city-center. Breakfast is ok, different kinds of bread, cheese, ham, yoghurt, sweet stuff, good coffee anyway, a good start of the day. Plenty of information is available...

I attended a conference at WU. The hotel is simple, but nice. The breakfast buffet was plentyful and free wireless internet was available. I received a special conference rate and thus the hotel was very cheap. However, via hotels.com I would have received almost the same rate. Location is good as subway and train are close.
