Great location if you've attending a conference or event in Messe Wien as only a short walk away - approx 1.2km. Equally handy for visting Vienna too as the U-Bahn is so close to the hotel. Breakfast buffet was very wide ranging and should suit most tastes. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and courteous.

The hotel is of good quality and well positioned, close to the underground station. The breakfast ha s a good variety and the breakfast room is comfortable. The only thing that was unpleasant was the terrible noise caused by the central air conditioning system that during the night caused a big problem for sleeping. Also the velocity of the air...

This hotel is a little out of the centre, about a 10 min walk to the Prater but is very convenient for the Vienna underground, only 3 stops from Stephansplatz. The rooms were bright, clean and good value. We enjoyed our stay even though it did get off to a bad start due to being checked in by possibly the...

The hotel is located a half kilometers northeast of Praterstern bahnhof. I stayed there to attend a conference held at Austria Center in UNO city. The hotel is convenient to access both Austria Center (2 stops from Vorgarten Straße station of U1) and Stephansplatz (2 stops from Praterstern station of U1). The room is simple but comfortable enough. Warm foods...

At only 2 stops from Vienna Austrian Center and Stephanplatz, this hotel is well adapted for business trip. however, it lacks charm and personality. Rooms are clean but simple. Breakfast buffet is great with a large choice of hot and cold, sugared and salty dishes, all of relatively good quality and tasty.

The staff is very kind and available at helping with any information. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very good. The position allows you to visit easily every main attraction in Wien.

This is a very clean place in a very good location. 2 different subway stations are within 3 minutes walking distance. Moreover, one of them is the central change for a railway station, bus station and metro line 1. The hotel itself is a typical IBIS, with medium size rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast area is spacious, the breakfast is...

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
