From the minute we booked this special boutique place we knew we'd made an excellent choice. Great communication and advice from the owners from the start. The location is perfect for sightseeing and eating out. The rooms are super clean and comfortable with fantastic products (Malin+Goetz shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and hand wash all in full sized bottles). Constant hot water at great pressure. Beautiful bedding with fantastic huge pillows. Tea and coffee, water all available at all times in the reception and they are relaxed about you taking it back to your room where theres a small fridge and additional coffee pods. We were really happy with our stay here and would have no hesitation in recommending this place and its lovely staff. Can't wait to return Thank you
Location of hotel is ideal for exploring the centre of Vienna, lots of tourist places are withing walking distance, and it’s within 10 minutes’ walk of start point of Big Bus Hop On Hop Off tourist bus. The hotel is very clean, bedroom was spacious, especially for a single traveller, bathroom was small but very well fitted. I would agree with a previous reviewer about there being no shelf in the bathroom, there is very limited space for toilet bag etc. Although the lighting at the wash hand basin was good, it was definitely not suitable for application of make-up. In the bedroom it had what I think is called “mood” lighting, I could only see to read in bed by light of phone torch. Lighting in the room was very dim. There was a floor-standing lamp at other side of the room from the bed, but it was quite heavy and wobbly to move. There was no chair in the room, only a sofa bed which was not comfortable to sit on, too deep from back to front for comfort. Reception in manned only from 7.00am till 1.00pm. I was unaware of this before travelling. A phone number which was available 24/7 was provided, but I was concerned about there being no one around in an emergency. If one inadvertently leaves one’s key card in the room this could be a problem, also there are occasions when key cards simply don’t work and have to be re-coded (this happened to me recently but on that occasion I simply went to reception and it was re-coded). If one took ill while there was no one in reception this could be a major problem.…
We were delighted to stay in this boutique hotel!very warm and nice, spacy rooms...the staff was very warm, kind and eager to help us with everything!we went on foot almost to Every monument and museum And we didn’t use means of transport at all!! It s five minutes far from the opera And from Naschmarket on foot and almost fifteen minutes on foot far From Belvedere...so the location is ideal for the visitor That goes to Vienna For A few days and wantS to Explore it.another thing that was very convenient for us was that the hotel provided with espresso/tea whenever we wanted for Free and also a bottle of water everyday Since the water is quite expensive in Vienna...the breakfast was adequate and the staff that served it very very polite and nice.i would certainly stay there again and I M looking forward to it.…
It was excelent weekend in Vienna. Nice and clean rooms, tea ans coffe service, veey good breakfest incl champange. Near city centre ans Vienna oper. Very frendly staff. We can recomend for everybody. Bohumil.
Room is very clean and well maintained. Hotel is located near tram station and few minutes from metro station, 15 minutes walk from the center. Toilet / Shower room is a bit small. When we have arrived the room was ready and key was placed in an envelope .
Wonderful boutique hotel. Highly recommended for stay: + great design + friendly staff + superb breakfast + good location + nice bathroom accessories (hand wash, hairdryer) + complimentary Prosecco every evening What can be improved: - some of the designer lamps were a bit faulty as they are dimmers and light was blinking with a weird sound. I had a similar issue with dimmers at home, I think you just need to find compatible dimmer switcher and dimmer lights (cause for LED bulbs you need to have special dimmer switchers) - change the mattress cover (or maybe it was just a part of a mattress) from the polyester one to a natural one. This is not relevant for all the guests I believe but I start sweating when I sleep on unnatural materials even if they are two layers beneath the top one. Otherwise bed linens were good quality. Overall, it’s 5/5 and I will stay here again. Well done!…
We had a great stay at the Saint Shermin hotel. Very well located, just a 8 minute walk to Karlsplatz. Hotel rooms are quiet and clean. Nice beds. We die not have breakfast at the hotel. Lot’s of breakfast bars near the hotel. We will be back next time!
It is a B&B, not a hotel with 24hr staffed front desk. But staff very responsive. Easy keycode entry from main door and inside. Rooms are spacious, and good location - about 9min walk to Opera House (Staatsoper). Or if it's cold and you are tired, 3mins by Uber (Uber is super easy in Vienna - Dec2019) Neighborhood surroundings is also very safe and walkable.
Saint Shermin has lovely quirky rooms, that are individually decorated. The breakfast is superb and plentiful. It's in a really great location. And there is free champagne (when reception is open). What's not to love!?
Second time in this hotel. And as usual it was a fantastic experience. This hotel has unique rooms, great location within walking distance to the center of Vienna, fantastic breakfast. We highly recommend this place.
