Hotel was lovely, clean, nicely decorated with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was kept nice and cool ideal for the hot weather. The breakfast was nice with lots of options and we were a given a packed lunch for our day trip to Budapest. Would definitely recommend staying here. Also a good location with lots of attractions within walking distance.
Had a wonderful stay here. We had a spacious family room overlooking the park which was clean, comfortable and had good facilities. Bed comfortable, shower powerful with plenty of hot water and air con worked well - as very hot when we visited. Room has a safe and also a fridge - which we kept drinks in for use the following day. Vienna airport lines bus stop is 5 minutes walk away, two metro stations within 5 minutes walk either direction (schwedenplatz or shottering), there are 2 supermarkets literally round the corner and the city centre (main shopping area/St Stephan cathedral) took us around 10 minutes to walk. Plenty of restaurants either local or in city centre yet hotel in a quiet area. We found Vienna an easy city to walk around. Breakfast had plenty of choice - hot sausages, bacon and scrambled eggs, cold meats, cheese and rolls as well as croissants, pastries, fresh fruit and cereals. Staff at breakfast were polite and attentive and bring the choices of coffee or tea to your table. We found the breakfast room never overly busy and always well stocked.…
Excellent clean rooms excellent front nest and the best breakfast I had in the whole journey A great neighborhood quiet in the old city with a little park across the street to relax when the book or in my case have a cigarette Make sure you sign up for guru walk free walking towards in different areas of Vienna
We spent three happy days here! We stayed on the fifth floor overlooking the park in the square. No noise from other rooms, corridor or from outside other than nice laughter and shouts occasionally from the children at the park. The rooms were not modern but our park view, spacious room had everything we could need for a great stay. Comfort, cleanliness,WiFi, tea & coffee making facilities, fridge, and good in bathroom & shower. We loved the breakfast; lots of choice and good quality. Special thanks to the lovely ladies in the breakfast room who were warm, friendly, helpful and always kept the area tidy and well-stocked. The location was great... 4 mins walk from good value airport bus stop (Vienna Airport Lines Value) - takes only 20 mins- and close to other public transport links. We, however walked everywhere! City centre is 15/20minutes walk only. Would most definitely recommend this hotel.…
This is a well located hotel in a quiet part of the city in front of a park. Initially we got a very small room on the top floor where we couldn’t stand in the shower due to the low roof. They got us a different room one day after but the new room had a water problem that inundated the whole room and they changed us again to a third room. Despite the fact that they never apologized for what happened they gave us a discount of one day. Their manager seemed initially upset with our complain as if it was our fault, but after realized they were wrong. Their manager was rude
Friendly staff and easy check in process. The room was very clean and had a nice shower as well as a functional safe and complementary water. The wifi was really good and available throughout the hotel. The location was EXCELLENT — really close to all of the main attractions. The room key was slightly odd in that it had the room number written on it, but overall would definitely stay here again and will be recommending this hotel to friends and family when they come.
Great clean rooms with friendly staff. Tucked away in a quiet side street this was a great location just out of the noise of the downtown. Large city park across the street and about 20 min walk from everything. Just spent 4 nights in the k&k in Budapest and it was just as nice. K&k will be my go to in the future.
As far as European Hotels under €100 a night go K+K Palais Hotel is pretty tough to beat. From easy check-in and check-out to a location on the Danube near local public transportation arrival and departure are flawless. Dated but cleanly one can expect small rooms but everything necessary including strong WiFi and good water pressure. Add in free bottled water, a well-equipped 24/7 gym and quality housekeeping and this is a gem in its category.
The room is just ok, very small and the bed uncomfortable, the morning breakfast it’s average, not a big verity and basic food. Service and Customer service are terrible, the staff, especially in the dining room, is rude, the are understaffed and this is the excuse of the ladies during breakfast. We have reported at the guest service many complaints referred to the breakfast and the staff, what we have got back? Just a “we are sorry”. Hospitality business it’s something else, they are far away…
Stayed here with my daughter to visit the Christmas Markets in 2019. The hotel is well placed to visit many of these within walking distance. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the hotel was clean and the rooms very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again when I revisit.
