Never disappoints. Very close to centre , well run with a great breakfast and very helpful staff. In a very quiet location opposite a small park so no noise from late revellers or people wg have had a bit to much to drinkwhat more do you want.

Do not be taken in by the great opinions posted on this site! Here's my sad first-hand experience.... Arriving in Vienna at night, zero degrees celsius, snow on the streets. I had booked a room far from the elevator and had this confirmed by correspondence Lo and behold-upon arrival,I was allotted a room right next to the elevator and the strairway Then,I...

Located in a quiet area, but very short walk to the main attractions and restaurants. The hotel reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was quite good.

I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Staff were all charming and helpful, breakfast was good too. Rooms were comfortable and fairly quiet (those overlooking Rufolfsplatz anyway). The location is actually pretty convenient for a lot of things - a 10 minute walk from shopping areas and many tourist sites. There is a tram stop quite close...

Lovely boutique hotel, smart, friendly staff and a very central location, 10 minutes walk to the central shopping area in Vienna - Kohlmarkt, Graben etc... On a quiet square - Rudolfplatz - next to the Danube canal. Great room, very smart and good housekeeping. Good buffet breakfast, and snacks served in the small bar area. 2 minutes walk from metro(Schottenring)....

Our first stay at a K+K hotel. We narrowed our choice down to 4 & chose the Palais Hotel based on location and recent TA reviews. It is very clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of an excellent breakfast, served from early morning to late morning, and a lot of attention paid by staff to re-stocking the hot and...

I've stayed at a number of K&K hotels across Europe and found a very high standard at all of them. The Palais is no exception. Smaller than its Vienna sister, the Maria Theresa (which I preferred) it has a small lobby bar and a good breakfast buffet (though it would benefit from offering omelettes). Rooms are comfortable and well equipped,...

Located on a quiet street, but one where you can walk to many parts of town. The rooms and bathrooms were nice, a bit modern. Free water bottles, decent breakfast included. The front desk tried to be helpful making plans but at times were oddly vague with directions, as if they weren't sure. I would try other K+Ks after our...

We checked out of the K & K Palais Hotel today. We stayed in an Executive room. The rooms were clean although a little on the small side. We were given complimentary water, wine and the room had tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was lovely. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the centre of town. The...

Another great K+K hotel stay! We've stayed in several around Europe over recent years and they are always clean, well equipped and comfortable, with excellent staff. The K+K Palais is no exception. On arrival we were shown to a room on the 6th floor because we'd arrived early and that happened to be ready, so they wanted us to be...

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
