First visit and positively impressed: ideal central location near centre, metro, shopping and historic monuments. Aged building, but very clean rooms, friendly service and adequate prices. Fine breakfast, ideal to load up for long sightseeing trips.

I had a small, single bed, non-smoking room which was ok. Clean and with all you need. Breakfast had no pastry, unfortunately. Good yogurt and coffee was good as well. My room was on the fourth floor but I should have asked for one looking outside. Being in the heart of Wien you want to exploit this. Mind you: you...

Basically this is an average hotel but with a perfect location very close to all the main attractions in the city. It is situated in the historic centre of Vienna and you can find many restaurants, shops and attractions near by. The beds are good, the rooms bigger than normal, the bathrooms are quite uncomfortable in size. Breakfast is poor.

God location, ok room and breakfast. But the bedlinen was not ok, due to the material I guess. It was most uncomfortable. We thought they forgotten the linnen...but when we asked, the receptionist told us it was the "english way"....

I was revisiting the Hotel Post for the first time in 20 years. The hotel is only 3-4 minutes walk (if that?) from Schwedenplatz metro station, and only one stop on the S4 line away from Landstrase/Wien Mitte station if coming direct from the Airport. From memory, both the lobby area, and the restaurant have undergone some refurbishment. The leather...

Fantastic location with many sights within walking distance. I found my room really spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. I stayed here with friends as a cheap option before flying home. I always judge a place on whether I'd book the hotel if I was travelling with my wife. The answer here is a definite yes.

One of my favorite hotels in Austria. Have been there for 4 times already and am very glad. Hotel is absolutely well located, very close to main city sights, to Schwedenplatz U-1. Of course, it's a little bit expensive for a 3-stars hotel, but anyway it's really good for stay in. The room is very clean every time, the staff...

Stayed recently at the Hotel Post with friends. Our rooms were large & airy, clean & comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly & helpful, & the included breakfast had plenty of choices which were frequently replenished. The hotel is well-located in a quiet road with many restaurants close by. Just a few minutes easy walk away is the pedestrianised area...

Place is very well located, price is good, and service is normal. Good for someone who just needs a room for a few hours. Doors dont actually isolate any sound from the hall, and curtains are to short for the window size, light coming inside in early in the morning. But not a big deal.

Close to airport bus and Schwedenplatz U-1 metro station. Old building, not great facilities. No A/C, a bit expensive for a 3-star hotel. Breakfast ok. Single rooms are too small. No fridge. Still convenient either for leisure travelers or business travelers. Close to city center, Stephansplatz and Graben. Bratislava boats take off from Schwedenplatz.
