This hotel is very centrally situated and has easy access points to the centre of Vienna. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is very nice and varied. Ideal for business travellers. The rooms are old style but comfortable and the residents bar is really very relaxing.

I chose this hotel for our stay as it was perfectly located for sight-seeing in central Vienna. I also chose it for its facilities and its less ostentatious external appearance. The hotel has two entrances, the main entrance opposite a fountain and the rear one which opens onto a pedestrianized shopping street. From the moment we arrived by taxi from...

We checked in at night and checked out next day morning. Didn't get the chance to experience the hotel. Location is excellent, rooms are huge, washrooms are clean modern and well equipped. I was surprised to get a key at the reception rather then access card. Never used a key for a hotel room for ages. The staff at check...

Excellently situated .Spacious bedrooms and wonderfully comfortable beds. A splendid hotel to relax in and enjoy the many pleasures this marvelous city has to offer.Vienna is one of the safest cities in the world and also a world heritage site. It has a good selection of restaurants and sensational museums. A great place to spend a mini break in.

There's almost no better location for stay in Vienna as this hotel. Located directly at Kärntner Straße there are limitless possibilities to explore Vienna from there. Rooms are large (for European standards) and room prices is more than favourable. Staff is friendly and always willing to cooperate.

Excellent Location! Close to all major attractions. The room was spacious & well kitted out. Staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast at 25 euros was expensive & Cheaper alternatives close by. The hotel has no shuttle bus , taxi although available out side. Note to visitors (Smoking is allowed in open lounge area.).

Is this really 5 star? They charge like a rhino. In return you get lacklustre reception, musty smelling rooms, no bottles water, no iron, old beds with sagging mattress, pillows cheap and uncomfortable, old towels more like rah cloths. Booked double but get twins. All rooms the same. Eye-watering price of breakfast. The standard Austrian arrogance though is in plentiful...

It is quite disappointing for me to score ony 4 dots for this hotel. But the patchiness on the internet in our room prevented me to do this. They relay on freewave.at and this is not properly distributed throughout the hotel. This is a brillantly located hotel, with very good service and very big rooms. But there is NO EXCUSE...

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
