I booked 4 nights in this hotel. The total rate was advertised on Tripadvisor, but the booking was done directly with the hotel. The rate was VERY CLEARLY converted into Singaporean dollars online, as I paid using my Singaporean credit card. The hotel, however, charged me in euros. When I contacted them about this, I was initially told somewhat dismissively...

Am currently staying here for 3 nights. The best part is its location! Easy connectivity to get trams or trains to reach any part of the city. The Room- Rooms are OK with space and has tables, chairs ad many plug points too. Bed is very cozy and comfortable. We requested for a room on higher floor with good views...

This was our second stay at the Hotel Leonardo - Compared with the first time, it was infinitely better. We had a corner positioned suite - 2 rooms plus a bathroom, with views of Vienna through many windows - a lovely bright, big, comfortable room with a huge living room attached ; Very Impressed . The bathroom was clean and...

We stayed with my wife for one night. The location is in good proximity to a metro station. The Breakfast was average. The room was very small. The bathroom was problematic as on the floor there was not separation for shower area which means that water is spread all over the bathroom area. No mini bar or other accessories. The...

We stay at Vienna last summer (wife daughter and dad). Our experience was very pleasant and much of that was due to Leonardo Hotel. It´s a very well located place, between Downtown and Schöembrum, not fancy but nicely decorated, comfortable, quiet with very kind desk attention. Ah and good bar. Prices very acceptable, reservation online. Good

We stayed there last month for three nights. There was six of us and we had three rooms. The rooms were small. One thing to note is that the bathroom doors are made of opaque glass, so share a room only with someone you are very comfortable with! Another weird thing was that our room got cleaned very late, in...

Just to put it straight- the hotels ok. Rooms small but perfectly formed, hotel located in an accessible location which we appreciated. But... I'd emailed the hotel telling them it was my birthday upon arrival no acknowledgement. The bleach blonde receptionist whilst checking us in, took another phone call for the reception whilst checking us annoyed me- although there was...

Great location ( 100m from metro station and railway station ). Super friendly staff. Tasty breakfast. Disgusting dirty shower (room 124). Poor room service ( no liquid soap/shower gel refill). You can find better accommodation in Vienna for more reasonable price.

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighbourhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
