I loved Vienna, but I would come back just for the hotel! Everything was beautiful, the service was incredible, breakfast was delicious, we loved reading the complimentary papers. The pool/spa was so lovely - my only issue is that I had to cancel a massage and they charged me 80% but did not let me know of this policy beforehand...

Stylish hotel, modern decoration, old world charm, polite and helpful staff. Rooms were quite spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated, with very comfortable beds. Breakfast is continental, it is good and the lounge area where it is served is beautiful. The location is the best you could ask for, a 5 minute walk from the museum quarter and walking distance to all...

The Hotel Sans Souci Wien is an excellent place to stay. The service is incredibly friendly from the staff at the reception desk. This is my first time to Vienna and I felt a very warm welcome from all the efficient staff. The hotel interior design is contemporary, being recently finished. The ambiance and even the smell is completely luxurious....

Room was very nice by European standards. Best bathroom I have had in my many travels over there. Also a nice, quiet, spacious room with and great entrance area to keep luggage, coats etc. Also very clean and modern.

For a perfect visit to Vienna, a stay in this hotel is a must. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff the icing on the cake (or should we say icing on the sacher torte :) After a wonderful breakfast take a short walk into the museum quarter, Hofburg or the old town of Vienna. Have a coffee at Cafe...

One of the best hotels I have stayed in - Beautiful hotel, large rooms which are spotless and modern, with all the extra touches, breakfast was fresh and delicious, we dined in the restaurant and had bar food and both were excellent, location could not have been better, but above all else, what friendly, professional staff, we felt welcome from...

Viena is already worth a trip. Staying at the Sans Souci alone already is worth a trip. Excellent spa facility, spacious and cosy room. Complimentary coffee service at any time - and yes, the coffee tastes great. Extremely well located close to the Museumsquartier and only 10 minutes walking distance to Heldenplatz. We felt welcomed at any time and certainly...

Staying in Neubau

Neighbourhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
