What a delightful Hotel. The effortless courtesy and caring ways of each person with whom I interacted made my stay absolutely perfect. Talking of perfect, it is appropriate to mention the soft boiled egg Antonela made for my breakfast. Imagine offering a soft boiled egg and delivering exactly that. Perfect! Doesn't that tell you that this is a special place?...

We stayed in this hotel during a 5 day long family vacation and we all loved it. The staff was nice, kind and accomodating, and some of them even made the effort of trying to speak in spanish. We stayed in room 20, which included a balcony with views to the main street. The room was wonderful, and out beds...

We stayed for three nights and would highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel. It is in an ideal location in the Museumsquartier to explore Vienna. The artwork throughout the hotel added individuality, the rooms provided all amenities required, breakfast was plentiful with eggs cooked to order. We spent time relaxing in the spa enjoying the steam room and sauna whilst...

The hotel accurately includes the words "small luxury" in their title. This is a very comfortable, nicely designed small hotel on a major commercial street. It is about a 10 minute walk to many tourist sites and just two blocks from the Metro. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and very nicely decorated. The prices was reasonable and includes free internet....

Marvelous, beautifully decorated, quite, conveniently located hotel. Exceptional, extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Elegant and very clean rooms with spacious and meticulously clean bathrooms. Nespresso machine in the room. Delightful breakfasts with wide array of choices. Love all original art works in the hotel! We will definitely be back and will recommend it to others!

Fabulous room - inc bathroom - great location, and the personal spa (only 2 can be booked in at a time) is a great bonus. In room Espresso machine (others take note!) and very well presented breakfast of good quality. There is a bar, but its not a bar as such. Only negative was the hairdryer which was just rubbish.

We had an excellent stay in May 2017, the hotel is comfortable, really clean and service minded. The location is perfect; most of the city center tourist attractions are at walking distance as well as the subway.

I can't praise this hotel too highly. It's a charming small comfortable hotel, full of original art works. The rooms are spacious, meticulously clean with recently renovated bathrooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is perfect. The location too is perfect, right next to the Museum Quarter and with a 20 minute walk of the Opera House,...

This is a small, quiet, boutique hotel well located in the Museum District, just outside of the Ring and outside of Old Town Service at the hotel was outstanding, and the room was very comfortably furnished.

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighbourhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
