This is a classic Norwegian Hoyfjellshotell. An older building, comfortable rather than luxurious, with old fashioned touches such as the handbell rung at 18.30 to announce that dinner is about to be served and the lounge where diners go to drink their tea or coffee afterwards.

I have previously stayed at Dalseter in the winter doing cross country skiing, so know what a great location it is and how spectacular the view is. When the hotel sent out an email saying 'why not come and see what it is like here in summer' we thought we would do just that! As

Spent 2 weeks in early Feb 2018 cross country skiing. Had a nice clean room, food was varied and plentiful. Since it is away from most things the package was full board which worked well. With early flight from UK was able to use train and bus that dropped u off at the front

I did not think I had been here before, but I have. I recognize it - exactly. Even the picture on the walls. But my last visit was with my parents as a child, so it must have been some time in the sixties or early seventies. So I must agree with the reviewer who called the place
