I spent there just the night of my arrival with my group. The accomodation is ideal for backpackers and tourists travelling from place to place. It is basic (small rooms ensuite) but beds were comfortable and the location strategic. Breakfast is essential but there is also a

Is it possible to check in late, for example at around 00.00?
I am pretty sure of it for a couple of reasons: 1. the hostel is located next to the train station and probably some travellers arrive in the evening; 2. I've seen someone at the check in desk late in the evening and early morning. However, if I were you, I'd call before or send an email in order to decide the arrival time.

"313 has view across the tracks, recommended for rail enthousiasts"
"Let the staff show you the rooms, don't take what they say and pay without having a closer look first. No way!"
"Hostel is really wide, so you can be close to the kitchen (300+) or to exit (200+) - it's your call :)"
"I was with my wife and daughter but in a male dormitory. It was fine, I assume they are all the same so can't see any particular problem with any. I guess l had good worn out room mates who wanted to sleep as much as l did. Excellent shower."
"Trains are better than traffic. And there are very few of the former."
