Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We both loved this little comfy B&B! The room was little, but cozy. I, personally, loved the way it was decorated with various memorabilia. The very nice lady asked us to locate our suitcases anyplace downstairs to make room for ourselves. The downstairs area was private and reserved for the B&B guests. The little bathroom was also well equipped with all amenities, even with a washing machine. The breakfast, served in her living room, was just fantastic. I felt I had something common with this very nice lady who seemed to have traveled a lot and appreciated and cherished art & artifacts from various places and cultures. The breakfast room was very cozy and we also loved the music she played during our breakfast. We really appreciated the little B&B and would love to drop by there again.

This B&B in the old town offers a real taste of local life situated off road along cobbled streets there is a wonderful atmosphere about this property. Anna the owner offered us tips on where to go and eat, she also offered a wonderful breakfast. The accommodation has its own private entrance.

I stayed two nights in Anne's cosy, lovely flat. She is a wonderful host, open-hearted, with many tips for the sightseeing and the breakfast she served was delicious. The city centre and the attractions are all in walking distance. It was an amazing time, thank you, Anne

First I want to point out that we knew the room will be small and we knew the location of the house before we got there as we did research this before booking this place. What a wonderful welcome from the owner Anne, the whole house is so beautiful I still can't get over it! We had all of downstairs to ourselves and everything we needed was in the room. The house is in a lovely area, like you are in a filmset, very short distance from town centre. Facilities were great, shower and bath, always hot water. We decided to have a breakfast once but had it the next day too. After this breakfast experience we couldn't not have it again. This breakfast served in the most amazing lounge I have ever been, beautiful food and plenty of it. Anne, I think I need to stop being scared of colours and buy a few colourful things myself 😄 Anne, thank you so much for the great hospitality, I will never forget this experience, I like your style and Norway is beautiful 😘 I recommend your B&B 100%!!! Spent 2 nights at this fabulous B&B, Anne was extremely helpful happy to answer any questions we had and very knowledgeable about the local area and things to do. The breakfast was really good and her home is very quirky and arty. Would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone looking to spend time in Bergen!

We started in this lovely bed and breakfast 2 nights before a Hurtigruten Cruise and 1 night after it.What a lovely place to stay. When we arrived Anne Helene gave us such a warm welcome. The room is quite small but comfortable and cosy. The bed was very comfortable. The decoration is lovely. There were different teas to choose from and coffee.A kettle and cups. The bathroom is very nice with a shower and a bath. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.Lots of different colours and nice pictures and ornaments.A small hallway for luggage and coats. It was self contained with our own front door. We decided to have breakfast and were very glad we did. There was so much choice with lovely rolls and bread ,cereals, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, yogurt and fruit. We couldn't board the ship till the afternoon and were able to leave our luggage till we were ready to leave. It was about ten minutes walk into the centre of Bergen. I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone. You get a personal service that you would never get in a hotel.I know if we go back to Bergen this will be the place we will stay.

Stayed here with my daughter for 4 nights. A very colourful and querky place to stay very close to the main attractions of the city. Certainly walking distance. The bedroom is small and the sofa bed in it just about fills the room. It is comfortable though and bathroom is big. There is a small rail in the private hallway to hang a few things, but if like me, you like to completely unpack and settle in then there is not really the space to do that. Being with my teenage daughter, we did feel we were tripping over eachother and our belongings. Breakfast is good and in a lovely bright room.

This B&B is in the center, by the sea, at walking distance toward everything. The service is super: you have great privacy, comfort, kindness and the breakfast is outstandig. I enjoyed the staying so much, and Anne Helene herself is such a kind and lovely person. You don't get this in any hotel out there, because Anne Helene takes care of your staying and is also a wonderful person to chat with. Be you alone or in a couple, this is THE place to be in Bergen. It boosts your experience of this city 100%. And the house is something you MUST see. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Bergen, simple as that.
