We stayed just for a night in hostel Montana and were regretting that we couldnt get to stay longer here. It is a luxury hostel and very organized and clean and spacious and everything. The staff was very friendly and even gave us the two dorms we had booked for 6 people they let us have each dorm for ourselves...

Been in this hostel for two nights. The place is quite tidy and it has a large parking space. The breakfast is quite varied and its good too. The only drawback is that you have to pay for the sheets and the towels and also the rooms are very small. We were 3 adults and two kids, you can imagine...

Montana is a great hostel with friendly staff who often organise events, ranging from hikes to waffles, for those who want to participate! The free breakfast is phenomenal and well worth spending some time at. There are two fully equipped kitchens which are great as well as a great common area. There is a small area outside behind one of...

This hostel is not so close to the center of Bergen. Great when travelling by car : the parking is free and the road to the hostel is straightforward. Compared to other Youth Hostels in international cities, this was a very positive experience. Spacious rooms, Wifi everywhere, ... but still plenty of opportunities to make contact with other guests. On...

This is a good place to estay a few nights, the staff is quite likeable, the breakfast is good. The rooms (four beds) simple but comfy, may be the location is a little bit far from the down town. It's clean.

Good value by Norwegian standards. Adequate, comfortable 4 bed dorms. Excellent view. Difficult to get to for late flights, as #12 bus stops around midnight. Proper breakfast with great view included, which saves you money! Adjacent to the Mount Ulriken hike, which is the mountain behind it, and a great introduction to the lovely vista over Bergen. No brainer really.

We stayed here based on a friend's recommendation, and have stayed in hostels before. If you are planning on going hiking this is probably a good location to be. Otherwise, not recommended for visiting Bergen, as it is a 15 min bus ride from the city, but there is only 1 bus every 30 mins and 1 every hour on...

In Bergen there are not many options to stay for 1-2 nights at a cheap hostel. So this is the best option. It's clean. No wifi in the rooms. The breakfast is absolutely amazing! Close to the bus station close to Ulriken so you can hike to the top and catch the incredible sunset. Would recommend.

The best thing about this hostel is the view from outside, all of Bergen! It is about 20 mins from the Bergen busstation on one bus, but the journey is worth it as it is in a beautful location and the views are spectacular. There is a good kitchen with fridges and stoves and everything you need to cook. Breakfast...

The single rooms are decently priced, clean and quiet. The common areas are well kept and fun. The location is a hike from the city center but has its charm. Breakfast is buffet style in a large cafeteria with a good selection of food. Overall a very good option of traveling on a budget.
