This was our 4th trip to Majorca, and we would always stay at the beautiful Bon Sol. It is a great resort right on the Mediterranean where we go to relax. The views are magnificent, the food is excellent, and the service is impeccable. It was our 10th wedding anniversary, and chocolates, champagne, and a gorgeous flower arrangement were in the room when we checked in.

This was the third time that we had holidayed at the Bon Sol and I am delighted to say that it lived up to our expectations. Like anyone with a "favourite hotel" we were anxious about how they would get through the woes of 2020 and the pandemic. But it was pleasing that on our first visit since then everything was as good as we had remembered and expected. And it was also pleasing to be there in the week that the Xamena family owners were celebrating the 70th anniversary of the hotel. And on the night of our own wedding anniversary whilst there they gave us a very special evening dinner to remember. Thanks to all the staff at the Bon Sol for providing excellent service and accommodation.

I had a wonderful, restful holiday in the Bon Sol in October. I have been there many times with my husband and now as a widow on my own. The Zamena family and great staff make my stay happy and special and I never feel alone. I look forward to many more holidays in the Bon Sol Resort and Spa and would highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly quality service alongside comfortable surroundings and exceptional food, definitely our go to place for relaxation and recharging of the "batteries". Judging by the conversations we have with other guests we are not alone in our assessment of The Bon Sol. Our room was spacious, fantastic sea view, large seating area in the room and a roomy balcony to catch the last of the sun. We have always wanted to stay at this hotel, but usually spend our Summer in the Caribbean. This year we wanted something closer, and the description and reviews of this hotel made it look very attractive. Will try not to repeat what other guests have said! We arrived very late in the evening, BA having decided to deny us boarding, since they made a last-minute substitution of a smaller aircraft for our flight. Check-in friendly and efficient, and we soon found ourselves in a sea-view room in the middle section. Clean and very comfortable. Finding our way around the complex a little crazy at first, but we soon got the hang of a lift service where the high numbered floors were on the lowest level! Beautiful gardens, well maintained. Spent every day on the sunbathing level just above the beach. Always able to find sun loungers. You do have to make a choice of whether you want sun in the morning or afternoon! Beach small but a short walk into the sea, which was absolutely clear and warm. Please note that the concrete steps between the sun-bathing area and the beach were partially covered with seaweed, which made them very slippery in places. We saw several people fall, including a mother carrying a toddler. Food and service excellent in both the Las Antorchas and Carla Brugit restaurants, with plenty of choice. It was lovely to dress up a bit to enjoy the ambience of Las Antorchas. Bar service good with good choice of drinks and super-friendly staff. We will definitely return, perhaps a little later in the year when it will be cooler!…

One of the nicest hotels we have visited. This was our second stay; we first came in 2019 and loved it so much we were planning to return the next year, but the pandemic put paid to that. This year was the first chance we had to go back and it says much about the place that many of the brilliant staff remembered us - for the people are the Bon Sol’s greatest strength. The location is terrific, the hotel incredibly comfortable, the grounds, pools and little personal bay superb and the food is splendid - but it’s the people (they deserve far better an epithet than just ‘staff’) who are the icing on a brilliant cake. Martin and Lorraine the owners (whom you will see through the day in the hotel, eating in the restaurants and sat in the bar), their (adult) children who help run the hotel, as well as the servers, barmen, receptionists, housekeepers, spa folks, etc., etc., are without exception genuinely warm, friendly and very welcoming. It also says much about the sort of place it must be to work that many of the people have worked there for years and years. We will certainly be returning again in the future.…
