Leonardo Laura Beach & Splash Resort is celebrated by guests for its cleanliness and modern rooms with comfortable beds, although some visitors point out that the rooms can be compact, noisy, and vary in maintenance. The hotel's vibrant, family-friendly ambiance offers an array of pools and a waterpark, yet the entertainment can be a hit or miss, described as either enchanting or repetitive.
While the staff's attentive service is widely lauded, the noise level and inconsistent air conditioning are noted drawbacks. The resort's location earns praise for its beach proximity, but the value proposition is questioned by those who find the costs outweigh the benefits.

We booked this hotel for 2 weeks from the 23/09/24 - 07/10/24 for us as a family with 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 9.
The location of the hotel is brilliant for families, small children and also adults with many things to do on site. The water park kept the children entertained for hours each day. The all inclusive food throughout the day was really nice at the side of the pool and also in the restaurant areas.
The pool is constantly being cleaned and tidied all day, clean towels are provided with a pool card each day which is a very good touch, there was never an issue with getting a sun bed, chair etc...
The only downside we really had was when booking check your room has a balcony, yes this costs extra on the holiday as we didn't realise that we would just get an opening window which did make it hard to dry clothes.
The food did get a little bit repetitive with it being all inclusive you can expect that however it was fresh, plenty of taste and definitely plenty of choice.
This is a fantastic family hotel for all ages. We didn't have any complaints while staying here. We as a family would definitely come again in 2025

Just returned from a week here as family of 5 kids age 11, 5 and 1, absolutely brilliant hotel for kids. First night we got a family inland view was ok but wanted a balcony got upgraded for €160 to pool/sea view terrace room perfect location on ground floor doors opened onto kids pool area with pool bar couldn’t of asked for better spot for us with a pram and older child wanting to go off with friends to games room, splash park etc. Hotel spotless, all staff were lovely, entertainment ok, food was fab, plenty of choice, read mixed reviews on food before coming but what do people expect with family all inclusive resorts, this was the first all inclusive we found pork sausages (not chicken) and hash browns at breakfast. The restaurant nights broke it up a bit as all inclusive can get repetitive. American restaurant fab I couldn’t fit a pudding in though. Only time we left the hotel was to go to coral bay beach which was beautiful but could also go to the harbour with restaurants/shops etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone going as family we would go back 😊

Pros: Large hotel with lots of food options It's clean, staff are always tidying up/collecting glasses Rooms are decent size and modern Beds very comfortable During our 7 night stay we had 2 nights in other restaurants, the Lebanese and the Burger bar which were both good but book as soon as you arrive on the screen in reception Weather was perfect, 25 to 27 degrees with a light breeze. Wouldn't want to be there mid summer as I imagine it'll get really hot.. English style sockets with USB points Air con is decent WiFi good but you loose signal around the bottom pool or on the grass further down Easy to get sunbeds when we were there
Cons It was sooo noisy and busy - I think this place would be really hectic in summer. We normally prefer adults only but got a good deal which made it worth it. Hard to find your way around at first, there is a QR code on a sticker next to the tv which ahows you info on the hotel but I didn't spot it till the last day! Lebanese restaurant did great food but we were not aware it was a tasting menu, this wouldn't be great for kids I don't think We had a couples massage, €100 each which we felt was overpriced There isn't much around the hotel apart from a couple of bard and restaurants but it is only 10 minutes from the harbour which is lovely No beach No mirror at dressing table but two full length mirrors next to each other on the other side of the room Fire alarms went off two nights in a row around 3am. I understand this was mischievous guests so not really the hotels fault but it was quite stressful on the second night as it went on for several minutes.

We stayed a week as a family with our 3 year old daughter. If I rated out of 10 I would give it a 7.
I’ll start with the positives:
- Good facilities for a 3 year old. Park and multiple pools which kept our 3 year old always entertained. - Food we thought was of a good variety with 4 different a la carte restaurants to choose from. - Even though this was a busy hotel, there was enough space for sunbathing. We didn’t have to rush down to reserve a sun-bed (we always chose the grass area). - We generally felt the hotel was “good enough” as a 4 star. We got a last minute deal so it was value for money.
The negatives: - Number 1 biggest disappointment was the air conditioning not working in our room. We complained, someone came out but never fixed it. Since our room was south facing, it was on average 27c all day and night. - The shower leaked into the main bathroom. They didn’t slope the tiles properly between the drain. So we always had to mop it up after each use. - The hotel claims to be green but the amount of plastic being used for drink cups was ridiculous. - The quality of the drinks was poor. Syrupy cocktails. No fresh juice. - The hotel felt like a conveyor belt of guests. Nothing felt personal. - Cleanliness was pretty average to poor. Pool area where they have the artificial grass stank. I never saw any deep cleans the time I was there. - Our rooms were never properly cleaned the full week (I mean mopping floors, properly cleaning bathrooms). - Evening entertainment was poor. - Including the name “beach” in hotel name is misleading. There is no beach owned by this hotel. - Location means you have to get two buses if you wish to visit the harbour. Or 30 euro taxi return.

Dear Guest, Thanks for your review about our hotel. We are delighted that you enjoyed the park and multiple pools, which offered abundant entertainment for your 3-year-old daughter, as well as the variety of food available at our four a la carte restaurants. It is also gratifying to know that you found our resort spacious enough for sunbathing without the need to reserve sun-beds in advance, and that overall, you felt our hotel provided good value as a 4-star resort. However, we deeply regret the issues you encountered with the air conditioning in your room and the inconvenience caused by the shower. We understand the importance of maintaining a comfortable room temperature, especially in a sunny locale. We also acknowledge your concerns about the environmental impact of using plastic cups and the quality of drinks offered. Additionally, your comments on the personal touch and cleanliness, particularly in the pool area, have been noted. We truly apologize for any aspect of your stay that did not meet the high standards we strive to uphold. Finally, we are sorry to hear that the evening entertainment did not live up to your expectations. Nonetheless, we hope you were able to appreciate our commitment to providing a family-friendly environment with facilities and activities tailored to our younger guests. We also trust that you found our location convenient for enjoying the local area, despite the distance from the city centre. As we continually aim to improve, we value your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a more satisfying experience. We are hoping to welcome you back in the future. All the best. Ionas Ioannou, General Manager

This is a Travelodge with slides and a buffet. Never a 4* more like a 2* all inclusive, where things are NOT all-inclusive.
Room service - You get a single one litre bottle of water on arrival in your room and they expect you to refill it everyday from the bar and they don't tell you this. If you are asleep between 6am and 8am chances are house keeping will not make your room.
Sugary drinks - No fresh juice unless you pay and ALL the drinks are full of sugar. Everyone directs you to the bar, but the bar has sugary carton juices.
Buffet - Forget about getting an omelette made to your taste, anything not pre-made at the buffet is charged extra. The buffet is absolutely chaotic and food quality is very low.
Restaurants on site - these need to be pre-booked and are average at best with mediocre food quality. They are likely to be all full when you arrive, as they can only be booked on arrival. But they can be oversubscribed to get you in.
Lack of healthy snacks - All snack options are unhealthy chips/fried falafel/pizza. Some healthy food is available at breakfast, lunch and dinner where you can get salads, but there are no fresh juices, or non sugary drinks. Even a bag of crisps comes with an extra charge.
Allergies - Do not stay here if you have an allergy, you will be charged for separate items. Having an allergy is treated like you are asking for an 'a la carte' menu. If it's not on the buffet, you have to pay. The manager said they do this to deter guests from claiming they have an allergy to get freshly made food, which speaks volumes about how this hotel is managed.
Disturbed sleep - On one side of the hotel you have a highway with cars and trucks at the break of dawn and the lawn being cut. The other side of the hotel there are staff ready to clean rooms, or the pool area at 6am / loudly talking to one another to ensure you have a disturbed sleep.
Dated - Rooms are tired and in desperate need of a makeover. Bathrooms have cracked tiles / mold. Towels are old and in need of replacement. Very difficult to get a person into the bathroom with a child and we are a fairly slim/small family!

Just returned after 2 weeks away. We had a good time but that was mainly because we were with family and friends. Disappointed in a few aspects. I do not feel that this is a 4 star hotel. And it is definitely not all inclusive as to fully get the all inclusive experience you have to purchase a GOLD wristband. Very misleading when booking, we were not aware of this. Hotel was very hot - lack of air con in corridors and lifts were at times unbearable. Bottled water only given to GOLD band guests along with other drinks such as milkshakes, cocktails etc. We were on the 5th floor which could be a real drag especially when trying to get a lift. Key cards stopped working at least 4 times during our stay and had to get reactivated. Rooms were basic but clean. We had a fantastic maid who came daily. She always had a big smile on her face and left towel displays on our bed - which was so sweet. Food was nice but very repetitive. The restaurants could get very big queues and at times very noisy, a real canteen experience. It was very annoying at times especially with other guests and children pushing in. Drinks were served in disposable plastic cups. Understandable around the pool but in the evening a nice glass overlooking the beautiful sunset would have been nicer. Also maybe investing in solid reusable plastic beakers would more ideal. Water slides were good. Although in need of more blue mats for the slides. Lifeguards on the slides were brilliant, really making the experience fun and safe for everyone. The steps up to the slides are quite rough on bare feet. No drinks around the pool. Really miserable lifeguard on one of the pools who was constantly blowing his whistle and wagging his arms and fingers at people. He was relentless and a real “fun sponge” and more times than not quite rude. When he wasn’t there Jacob would cover and he was a breath of fresh air. Playing with kids and bringing real joy and fun around the pool. The umbrellas, loungers and towels are in need of updating. You can get clean towels daily. Evening entertainment was disappointing. The kids disco always seemed to be a big hit, but after 9pm it wasn’t good. I think if you are travelling with young children then it would probably be a good hotel but we travelled with teens. Outside of the hotel we went to the beach. Rock shoes needed but the water was lovely. 5 minute walk away we paid for the water sports and they were brilliant and really well organised. We got the bus outside the hotel to the harbour which was lovely. And two nights we went to The Sapphire for Elvis and Queen tribute. Both nights were amazing. Highly recommend going there.

Dear Guest, Thanks for your review about our hotel. We are delighted that you enjoyed the company of your family and friends, our water slides and the caring service from our dedicated staff, notably our wonderful maid and the vigilant lifeguards who contributed to the safety and fun around the pool. It is also great to hear that Jacob's lively spirit added joy to your poolside experience. However, we apologize for the aspects of your stay that did not meet your expectations. We are aware of the challenges concerning the air conditioning in the common areas and are looking into ways to enhance comfort during the warmer periods. While our GOLD wristband provides additional premium options, we regret any confusion regarding the all-inclusive offerings and strive for clarity in our communications. Furthermore, we understand the inconvenience caused by the lifts and the malfunctioning key cards, and we appreciate your patience as we continuously work on improving these facilities. The comments regarding the queues in the restaurants and the disposable cups reflect areas where we can enhance our guest experience, and we value your suggestions. We are sincerely sorry that the service did not meet your expectations and are reviewing your comments with our team in order to improve our service. Nonetheless, we are pleased that you found the beach enjoyable and the nearby water sports well-organized. We hope you also cherished the convenience of the bus service to the harbour and the delightful evenings at The Sapphire. Our team is committed to providing a diverse range of activities and amenities, and we are glad these aspects were highlights of your stay. We are hoping to welcome you back in the future. All the best. Ionas Ioannou, General Manager

We went to this hotel for a wedding in August. Overall the hotel was ok although we normally travel to adult only hotels this was a bit of a change for us with lots of children running around, including our grandchildren of course. They seem to cater well for the children with a choice of pools available to them and a kids club. We decided to make a holiday out of the trip so booked for a two week stay. The room was spacious with plenty of storage space and kept clean, although it is worth noting that they don't provide fresh water bottles on a daily basis, but these can be bought at the shop on the lower level. Our holiday was somewhat marred by an accident my wife had with a sun lounger. These tend to tip up if you sit anywhere near the foot end which I did and my wife's hand was caught in the head end mechanism which required her to go to hospital where they stitched her finger. The follow on to this is that she had to return to the hospital on five occasions to have the dressing changed , have the wound checked and on our last day they removed the stitches. The accident happened on our second day at the hotel so she was unable to fully enter the water during the entire holiday. The staff at the hotel were very helpful with the first aid lady, Zonitza Niclova (please excuse spelling) who was also the manager of the water park, being absolutely wonderful. Checking up on a daily basis on my wife's condition, applying first dressing and another dressing change when required, she arranged taxis to the hospital and chased them up for receipts so that we could claim on our insurance. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The receptionists were also quite empathetic with Orst and another young lady who's name we didn't get but it began with an A we think, being particularily helpful. We travelled with TUI and other than the reps requesting us to fill out an incident form they showed no further interest in our predicament, which was a little disappointing. Overall the hotel was ok, with a lack of air conditioning in some public areas including lifts and corridors. We'd also suggest that the sun loungers be changed to something a little more stable the next time they're changed.

Dear Stephen, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We are pleased that you enjoyed our family-friendly amenities, including the various pools, the children's club, and the spaciousness and cleanliness of your room. It is wonderful to hear that our team members, led by Zonitza Niclova from the water park and our receptionists Orst and the young lady whose name begins with an A, provided helpful and empathetic service during your stay. However, we are sorry that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. We understand the inconvenience caused by the incident with the sun lounger and acknowledge your feedback regarding the provision of fresh water bottles. Moreover, we take note of your observations about the air conditioning in certain public areas and will consider your suggestions for more stable sun loungers seriously. We would like to point out that our guests generally appreciate the quality of the service and we take your comment very seriously as we strive to ensure a pleasant stay for every guest. Finally, we are delighted that the room's ample storage space and the dedicated attention from our staff contributed positively to your visit. We travelled as a family of 2 adults and an 11 year old child The reason for booking this hotel was due to the splash park, which is open to guests
The positives are: Food: buffet breakfast and dinner were good. Breakfast was mostly the same each day. Dinner was in a different buffet restaurant which makes a nice change, and there is a different main station each night. Very busy at dinner time. There is plenty of food available at the pool bars for lunch but the food is repetitive and limited choice. If you have all inclusive you can go to the buffet restaurant which we did twice and enjoyed Drinks: service takes time at all bars, range is average Check in: quick and easy Activities: ping pong tables, splash park not crowded, promenade with cliff sea views. Amazing sunset views at dinner due to east facing location Location: there is a bus outside on the main road which can take you to Paphos/Venus beach and the other way to Coral Bay for EUR2 pp/EUR 1 per child for a 1 way journey
Negatives: Room was small, we had a double with a sofa bed in the simplest room Clean - room cleanliness was average, general hotel cleanliness was average Noisy - walls are thin and the corridors up to 1/2am are noisy with inconsiderate people being very loud Lifts are heavily used and therefore there is a long wait, we regularly used the stairs which was not an issue for us

A pampering hotel is located on the coastline, large rooms overlooking the mountains or the sea. I recommend you take a room facing the sea. 4 restaurants in the hotel Italian / Arab / American / and a general dining room for breakfast, lunch and dinner and there is a snack bar in the pool. There are activities at the hotel for children, the water park is excellent. The hotel is clean, including the rooms, despite the full occupancy, not crowded, I highly recommend the main dining room with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Free drink is worth it

We arrived at Leonardo Laura on the 26th of June for 11 nights. When we arrived well after midnight we had a warm welcome from the security (young, dark hair and smartly dressed). We had a flight delay so arrived later than expected but food and drinks were offered to us.
The room was fine for what you need it for and our housekeeper Milena Artemis kept this at a high standard everyday. Milena kept us entertained everyday with a new towel animal and was always friendly when we passed in the corridor.
Carlos and Quentin from the entertainment team kept my son entertained during our stay with water volleyball, football and bowling. My son really liked Carlos as he always came over everyday to find him to play one of these sports. Also Quentin made his morning by telling him he was MVP in water volleyball. The night time entertainment I can’t really comment on as my son is past an age for mini disco and loved that they had the football games on so that kept him entertained during our stay.
There were plenty of food choices and several places for lunch. The chefs were always busy replenishing the food and the staff round the tables were quick to clean and reset tables so there wasn’t long to wait.
Around the pool Beni went above and beyond. The place was spotless and Beni was round several times a day with a wipe to clean your sunglasses/phone and a wet towel wipe at lunch to clean your hands. There was also a refreshing non alcoholic shot that went down a treat.
The pool area and water park were amazing and cooled you down in the heat. Jacob the lifeguard was so friendly and had fun with the kids. On the last few days the whirlpool stopped working but it was nice this area was for over 16 as adults could relax. There was always plenty of sunbeds and if there wasn’t one the pool attendants would either find you one or move empty beds around. People did put towels down but this didn’t stop you ever finding somewhere to sit.
We used the arcades one night and had so much and most of them were €1 each. The shop on the bottom floor was more expensive than the supermarket that was a short distance from the hotel.
Overall we really enjoyed our holiday here and will be returning next year with more family. We felt so safe within the complex as there is security 24/7 who walk around day and night.

Dear Jayrr, Thank you for such a great review. We are truly heartened to receive your glowing feedback and to hear about the memorable moments you and your family enjoyed at our resort. We are delighted that you valued the attentive services provided by our security team upon your late arrival and that the offerings from our culinary team met your expectations. It is also gratifying to hear that the entertainment provided for your son was a highlight of your stay and that our housekeeper Milena added a special touch to your room experience. However, we regret to hear that our on-site shop did not quite meet your expectations in terms of pricing. We continuously strive to provide a wide range of items at competitive prices and appreciate your feedback on this matter. Nonetheless, we are pleased to note that the cleanliness around the pool area and the refreshing amenities provided by Beni enhanced your comfort and enjoyment during your stay. Finally, it is wonderful to learn that the water park, lifeguard interactions, and arcade experiences contributed positively to your holiday. We are ever so grateful for your intention to return next year with more family members and are excited to welcome you back to Leonardo Laura Beach & Splash Resort. We look forward to a return visit from you in the future. Best wishes, Ionas Ioannou, General Manager

Well we stayed there for two nights and during that period all the entertainment was at the amphitheater . There is alternative sitting for the amphitheater as it is located in front of the main restaurant.
