Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We spent 3 days in the King Evelthon hotel with my girlfriend. We had a great time during our stay here. During this time, we tried the hotel's spa department, where we received a couple's massage. The massage was amazing. Thank you Panos and Sofia for this wonderful massage. Also, I would like to thank the other employees of the spa for this wonderful experience.

I visited the spa Aegeo in Paphos, Cyprus and i really enjoyed it. Staff was friendly, nice atmosphere and Akis is very good at his job. :) The prices are decent as well. I would like to come back at some point.

Claimed to be a 5 star resort but that must have been back when it was originally built as its not to that standard now. It is an impressive hotel that looks great and the outside area is also very nice. The food is well below par out of the 1 week we were there only 2 meals were actually enjoyable (dinner first night there and lunch near the end of our visit), as for breakfast we stopped going it was terrible. As for the rooms they were of a good size, massive bed and the usual TV, kettle hair dryer etc. Bad points for the room, air-conditioning only blowing hot which other guests also mentioned I know it's winter season but at nights the rooms were roasting especially for myself coming from Scotland which we were having 5/7°C leading up to our holiday to then 20+ over there. Also when having a shower the bathroom floor would end up being flooded. The staff at this resort are the best I've ever met very nice and friendly can't complain at all.

Close to the coast, coastal pathway, clean, welcoming, calm, staff are smiley, helpful ans nothing is too much trouble. I took advantage of the spa to reset to a calm, quiet and resting break and had a massage by the wonderful Virginia… who did just that and I now feel ready for my break

We enjoyed 5 night stay at this wonderful hotel. We were anxious having read some of the earlier reviews on the hotel. However our fears were allayed by the hotel team, facilities & excellent spacious rooms. Our room was well appointed with superb sea views, spacious & very clean. Only minor comment would have been more pillows. We requested additional pillows which the receptionist supplied without issue. Hotel has several outdoor pools along with a heated indoor pool alongside well equipped gym and sauna. Plenty of comfortable sun beds around the pool or on the grass overlooking the ocean. We opted for all inclusive package with wide range of drinks available including expansive cocktail menu. Plenty of staff in the array of bars with no long waits for service. Breakfast, lunch & dinner with wide range of buffet food selections from meat, vegan, vegetarian with fish, salads & hot options cooked to a very good standard & plentiful. Entertainment in the hotel bar every evening which was of a high standard. All of the staff from the reception, restaurant, bar & cleaners all friendly, polite & professional every day. Fabulous hotel. Highly recommended.

A lovely hotel with amazing views. Great food and very friendly staff. We booked through Love Holidays and flew EasyJet. Both we great and had no hassles at all. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The only two things I can say is our room was clean and neat with everything we needed. But seemed dated and could do with some TLC. The other was the children in the inside pool should of been supervised by their parents as they were jumping in the pool and shouting very loud. There are signs up with these rules but the staff did not enforce them. A child slipped whilst running and could of been hurt badly. Apart from that it was a great 7 night stay and I would happily recommend the hotel to family and friends.

Came here for my birthday with my husband for 3 days and was upgraded to the pool room. Which basically has access to a shared pool for 5 rooms which was amazing. I think the upgrade was because it wasn't season maybe. Saying that the room was nice but is in need of an upgrade, the bath tub had stains and alot of rust about. But the bed itself was very comfy Air con worked, we did end up using it because although we came end of November the weather was beautiful during the day and got chilly around sunset time. It wasn't coat weather but you would need a jumper We were half board, which meant we had breakfast and dinner. You can switch dinner to lunch if you are not around for that which we did do on one day. Please note half board doesn't include drinks only water tea and coffee. If you want a drink itl be extra cost Breakfast has a brilliant selection of food! Dinner the selection was good but if you have halal dietary requirements like us, there isn't much to eat and you have to stick to pizzas, chips and fish options. The pool area outside is stunning and the sunbeds are very comfy! Lots to do in terms of entertainment My husband ordered a cake and mocktails for my birthday at an extra cost, the cost wasn't much and was a lovely lovely touch and the staff that came with the cake and drinks were so so lovely and attentive.

Overall the hotel was very good although our bedroom was in need of refurbishment. A large number of light bulbs needed replacement, particularly on the balconies. Overall though the hotel was very good. The buffet meals were excellent in terms of both choice and quality. The restaurant staff were very efficient and friendly. Particular mention must be made of Ashmita, Ranjita and other members of their family who are a credit to the hotel. Their friendly manner and efficiency made mealtimes a highlight of our holiday.
