What a wonderful B&B. The owners were ever so friendly, the weather was not so kind but the wonderful view from the front room made up for the bad weather. lots of little things went wrong in the house but the owners were amazing the comfort of the guests came first.Would we stay again yes

This was our first time at Basset House and it was lovely. The hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming and really make you feel at home. At our arrival they made some recommendations of where to go in the area based on our preferences and really took the time to ensure we had a good stay. The room was lovely and there was so much attention to detail, little touches such as handcream & cotton wool, and beautiful tea cups in the room for a night tea before bed. The bed was super comfortable with quality linen and the room had a large bathroom so couldn't ask for more. Breakfast was very good as well and our hosts even insisted we took a few extra chocolate Easter eggs for our trip back home. We would not hesitate to come back!

My husband and I have just spent two nights at this lovely B&B and have to say that it's the best B&B we have ever stayed in. It is situated on Easbourne's seafront and within easy walking distance of the town. The hosts, Catherine and Howard, are lovely people and so friendly - it was a pleasure to go to breakfast in the morning! The whole B&B is clean and bright as was our room with comfy beds, good quality linen, and a lovely step in shower. Breakfast was great. We chose cereal, toast and a full English on both mornings with fresh coffee, all of which was delicious. You just couldn't wish for anything better. We will definitely be going back and would highly recommend to others.

Stayed here on the recommendation of trip advisor reviewers, and not disappointed. Very friendly owners, nothing too much trouble, spotlessly clean, very good full English breakfast, good location, great value. Had a first floor room at the back, very quiet. Only negative was that wifi intermittent. Would stay again without hesitation.

This was the best B and B experienced ever. Breakfast surpassed all expectations. Hosts were exceptionally welcoming and the sea view bedroom was exquisite. Great bars and restaurants in the area. Fabulous walks too. Will definetly return.
