I don’t know where to start with this review because the list of good point just goes on and on. My sister and I stay at number ninety one every year. We always get a warm welcome from the lovely Gaynor and room 2 which we now call our room is ready and waiting with all her special touches. The bedroom is large with a comfortable bed. It also has a settee a table and two chairs. A large wardrobe with mirrored sliding doors. The sea view balcony with table and chairs is lovely to sit out on and have your morning coffee. There is a fridge in the room with fresh milk. Also a microwave cutlery, crockery and wine glasses. It comes with washing up liquid dish cloth and tea towel too. There is a good selection of tea’s coffee’s hot chocolate and biscuits. Gaynor has added little extra touches to the room which make such a difference - fresh cut flowers and charging plug. The bathroom is very large and has a walk in shower and a large bath. There is also two pieces of furniture and a nice chair giving it a touch of luxury. Included in the room is toothpaste, shower caps, tissues, radox for the bath and nice shower/shampoo gel and conditioner. There is always plenty of fluffy bath and hand towels too. Both the bedroom and bathroom are spotlessly clean and decorated to a very high standard. Gaynor definitely has an eye for attention to detail. Now on to the breakfast - all I can say is that it’s the best breakfast you will probably ever eat. There is a large choice and it is all cooked to perfection. We always have the fresh fruit, full English and toast and home made jam. You must have the toast and jam. Gaynor makes it all and it is absolutely delicious. I can tell you now, you won’t find anywhere better to stay in Eastbourne but be prepared to put on a few pounds as you won’t be able to resit Gaynor’s yummy breakfast 😂

We stayed at number 91 for 2 nights as part of a road trip. You can not fault this B&B. Lovely warm welcome, helpful and accommodating with good communication. Our room was massive, with a lovely comfy bed, sofa, table, quirky balcony with a sea view overlooking the gardens, plenty of wardrobe space and then you go into the en-suite, which is bigger than some rooms we have slept in. Bath and large separate shower., with dressing gowns and large fluffy towels aplenty. The room has everything you need, tea, coffee, biscuits, toiletries and a small fridge with some fresh milk ( always nice to have rather than UHT cartons). Pre ordering breakfast was simple, and what a breakfast, everything was perfectly cooked, really good quality and piping hot all in really nice surroundings. Set 5 mins walk from the pier, and you can see the ocean so a quick walk across the road and you are on the pebbles. 10 out of 10 and worth the price, which was very reasonable for Eastbourne. Would gladly stay here again.

An absolutely excellent B&B, room 5 was wonderful. It was spotless with so many unexpected little extras to make your stay as comfortable as possible and the view sea view was fabulous. Gaynor is an excellent host, her breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. We would not hesitate in recommending this little gem to anyone. Thank you for making our stay so welcoming and relaxing.

Stayed in room 2. Luxurious and opulent do not do justice to this fabulous room. It is very large, has its own balcony, sofa at the end of the bed and sea view. Its the attention to detail in the furnishings that my partner and I noticed. The bathroom is huge with a walk in shower and a bath and still space for a comfy chair in the bathroom. There is a fridge in the room stocked with fresh milk for the comprehensive complimentary drinks tray which has tea, hot chocolate and coffee. Within common areas of the house there are beautiful smelling fresh flowers and very tasteful decorations. Outside there is a table and chairs in the front garden, again you are surrounded by beautiful flowers. Gaynor runs the B and B and her style and attention to detail run through the whole experience that is Number 91. Moving on to breakfasts... wow, a selection most hotels and restaurants do not match, examples, english breakfasts through to eggs benedict and smoked haddock and poached eggs. Plus fresh fruit which was lovely and really good coffee which is so important when away from home. Will be back because it is fabulous and so so worth it.

Number Ninety One is the place to stay if you visit Eastbourne or the surrounding area. It is situated in a lovely location within easy walking distance from the main Front and shops but still offers enough peace and quiet from the main road and other holiday makers and visitors to the area passing by. There is plenty of parking directly outside and it is very easy to find/get to. The establishment is very welcoming and the owner/Landlady (Gaynor) is superb. Very friendly and chatty & nothing is to much trouble for her. We stayed in the 'luxury sea view balcony' room on the front upper floor and it was fantastic, could not fault it in any way. Very clean, spacious and modern and yes 'luxurious' is a single word that sums the room up. The attention to detail was second to none and every mod con and consumable item needed was in the room. Huge room, massive bathroom, and a lovely balcony area, cannot rate this room and establishment high enough. Gaynor's breakfasts are to die for, plenty of choice and so fresh and plentiful. All in all, a fantastic stay in a fantastic place run by a wonderful and charming host. From now on whenever we visit Eastbourne this will be our 'Go To' place to stay for all the reasons I have mentioned and more. If you are thinking of staying here do not hesitate, you will not be disappointed.

Gaynor offers a lovely house with lovingly furnished rooms and a first-class breakfast selection. The house is ideally located on the beach promenade and the walk to the city center is not too far. There is a bus stop nearby.

This is a really fabulous place to stay. The room was pure luxury, the beds are excetionally comfy. Gaynor is a very welcomng host, and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are supurb, and the added bonus you get fried bread. Heaven on a plate. It's a not only a fabulous place, it's very inviting. I would highly recommend if you're staying in Eastbourne. We will most definetly be going back very soon. Gaynor goes the extra mile when it comes to the bedroom, with a great range of teas and delicous coffees. It's excellent value for money too.

We can confirm that all of the previous positive reviews about this B&B, which made us give it a try, are spot on. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the whole place is very neat, tidy and spotlessly clean. Gaynor is an excellent host, always checking that all is fine, and that we had everything we needed. Location is very good, 2 mins walk to the beach, 15 mins to town. Last comment has to be about the Breakfast, absolutely brilliant, not only is it as big, or small, as you want, but all of the items were cooked beautifully. Have travelled the World for Business and pleasure, and can honestly say we have never had a better breakfast. If there is a better B&B in Eastbourne, we will never find it, as I wouldn't consider going anywhere other than Number Ninety One. Small yes, but quality in abundance.

There must be hundreds of B&B's in Eastbourne so it is important to stand out from the crowd somehow. Spotless, comfortable rooms, fresh milk, robes and good room amenities.
My only negative comments are.... The shower in my room had monsoon and conventional heads but lacked pressure. This is past the town centre so it is a bit of a hike back into town.

A very homely Guest House. Extremely clean room, very tastefully decorated with tea coffee making facilities, milk and water in the fridge on our arrival. Lots of attention to detail. A superb breakfast in a light airy dining room. Gaynor is a very friendly helpful host. There is a very pretty front garden with seating. The beach is just across the road. The property is located at the quieter end of the promenade and the pier is within a 15 minute walk. Very good value for money.
