About 5 minutes from the Sea Front and just around the corner from the Meads shops this B& B was well positioned. It is also close for those wanting to walk up to Beachy Head and onto the Seven Sisters park. Although only the two of us we were allocated the family room (at the back of the property) which...

I had a lovely four day stay at the superb Beachy Rise B & B in Eastbourne, East Sussex, England. I travelled to Eastbourne specifically to hike some of the walks in the nearby South Downs. Suzanne and her family were most welcoming. Her breakfasts were excellent, and the room was large, comfortable and immaculately clean. I must add that...

We easily found Beachy Rise Guest House, parked outside on the road no problem. Susanne gave us a nice warm welcome and showed us the breakfast room and asked what time we would like breakfast in the morning before taking us to our room. She asked if we had visited Eastbourne previously and if we would like any maps and...

Our room was absolutely spotless with lots of storage space, and the bed was very comfortable. The cooked breakfast was pleasant and the host was very kind and welcoming. It's only about 10 mins walk to the clifftop walk which takes you all the way into Eastbourne along the seafront - gorgeous! One word of caution if you're a light...

Rooms are very comfortable and clean, bathroom a little small. Great host, with lots of information. Great breakfast cooked to order. Very close to grocery store, pubs, city center and Beachy point. Parking right up front and free.

We stayed here on our only night in Eastbourne. Traditional in style, it is clearly much cared for, and we felt well looked after. Fine breakfast, so all good! It's very handy for the start or end of the South Downs Way, which is why we stayed there.

Upon my first arrival I was greeted by the owner who was extremely friendly, hospitable and helpful. Everywhere is spotlessly clean with great attention to detail. It is within walking distance to The Pilot, the better pub within the area.. And also close to the towns top sites and attractions. The hosts family is also just as hospitable and always...

We arrived (late) - due to horrendous traffic and weather on our way down from London - to be greeted warmly by the owner of this fantastic guest house. We'd booked a large family room at the back of the house which was perfect. You really do get the feeling that you are statying with friends at The Beachy Rise....

What a nice place to stay after walking the South Downs Way! This sweet little guest house is friendly, comfortable, quiet, well-run and only a short walk from the trail. Two nearby pubs offer good choices for dinner. (The Pilot is the traditional stop for the celebratory beer at the end of the walk.) The owner was very pleasant and...
