You won't get a warmer welcome than at what is arguably the oldest and most atmospheric pub in the area. Can't wait for them to re-open their doors and hoping that they will continue their amazing £10 offer. The fresh cooked pies were all delicious I sampled each one including the vegetarian and vegan options. Also included was choice from a generous variety of alcoholic or soft drinks although here I didn't waver from my medium sized Merlot! x

A delicious lunch with family. Lamb shank was tender and came with a range of perfectly cooked vegetables. The pork belly was great with a crispy top. The sticky toffee pudding was light and delicious served with ice cream. Service was excellent throughout. The whole experience felt covid-safe with all staff wearing masks.

Visited here with my partner, friend and granddaughter. The staff were friendly and attentive (but not too in your face), the environment was clean and with all going on at the moment they had taken care of all the guidance measures really well. The food was AMAZING, generous portions and the brazed beef Sunday lunch was one of the best we have had. Reasonably priced also. If I had to find one criticism (really clutching at straws) it would be that the condiments came in sachet form but to be fair to these guys I think this might be a COVID-19 keeping people safe thing? Thank you so much for a lovely meal!

The pub restaurant was very busy and the food was nothing special. It was also quite expensive for a pub. I cannot really recommend it but it wasn’t worth complaining at the time. I just won’t go there again.

Stayed for 3 nights in the Lamb Inn recently and had a really enjoyable time. The room was comfortable and well presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the Hotel for one night and the food was excellent. Overall, a thoroughly memorable stay.
