Enjoyed a most relaxing stay at this quality hotel. Our room on the fourth floor had a wonderful seaview which was delightful. The room was spacious and the bathroom massive! All furnishings were of good quality and everything was spotless. We were welcomed in a friendly manner, and the staff were helpful giving us information about Eastbourne and soya milk...

Me and my partner were in the area looking for something very last minute and we came across the cavendish hotel, it is a very large grand hotel with great character to it, the room we stayed in was a side Seaview with high windows giving us a stunning view of the pier, the bed was very large and comfy,...

Had sandwiches there on a wet and miserable January evening. Sandwiches were well presented and very tasty with salad garnish and a few crisps. Staff attentive. Seating very comfortable and the bar itself was lovely and warm.

A party of elderly people, between 72-92, made a booking together for a new years weekend break in December 2016 When they arrived, after traveling for nine and a half hours, there was no staff to greet them and help them with their heavy luggage. Some of the ladies were ninety years old. They had to struggle to drag their cases...

We attended a work Christmas party, there was a disco and the coat room was well organised. The food was reasonably good for a corporate event and service was well organised considering the occupancy of all the tables in the large restaurant. The staff worked hard and were courteous. This hotel is very expensive for weddings, (not sure how much...

Travelled with a coach party who had been to this hotel at New Year for several years. Reality did not match expectation based on previous experiences. Hotel taken over by Brittannia. Spa and beauty facilities removed on mezzanine floor and games removed from ground floor. New Year's Eve self service hot and cold buffet was provided in a basement room...

Stayed at this hotel read the previous reviews with slight panic, So felt I needed to comment on how we found our stay. As mentioned the hotel does have a car park and we did leave our car, which was very convenient for reception. Our hotel room was overlooking the seafront an excellent location for great views, although on the...

This hotel has totally gone down hill, in my opinion, since being taken over by Britannia. There were not enough staff on duty to cope with the busy new year period. The New Years Eve party was a disgrace as it was just a buffet when the expectation was it would be a Gala Dinner with Black Tie. It was...
