Everything good as expected but it was very difficult to change the channel on the tv in room 4. Asked the receptionist if he could change the batteries in the remote and he said it was normal and batteries were fine. Also the pub opposite (the Mill) was sadly not to my taste. Dreadful in fact.

I stayed at this Premier Inn with my two young children for 3 days at the beginning of August and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is located in a very nice position, 5 mins drive from supermarkets, fast food, a launderette, a business park and 8 mins from Eastbourne town. Check in was easy and fast, all done respecting the current social distancing measures, the gentleman at the reception was very friendly and helpful. All We were given a room at ground floor, it was spacious, comfortable and very clean and quiet. We arrived during the hottest week of the year :) and the fan provided by the hotel ( rooms have no a/c) was a bit too noisy and not cooling enough so we brought our own. Please note that if your stay is longer than one night, due to Covid restrictions, your room won't be done every day as the hotel housekeepers are not allowed to enter the guests rooms. We had a little accident with one of the boys wetting the bed in the middle of the night and the receptionist on duty was extremely nice and kind and helped, providing at the door the clean bedsheets. Little note: someone with kids more active than mines ( I thought it was impossible lol) was in the room on top of us and they have been running up and down and jumping for some time late at night, just in one occasion. Very pleasant and happy stay overall, we will definitely come back.

The Premier Inn Eastbourne was as expected for a Premier Inn. We stayed for 3 nights and although the rooms aren't serviced routinely all you have to do is ask at it will be. Fresh clean towels are available from reception on request. Reception staff are very friendly and nothing was any trouble to them. Our room overlooked the carpark so was peaceful but the other side faced on to a road that did get busy in the morning and i would say you probably would get some traffic noise on that side.
The restaurant '' The Mill'' is a Green king pub and could do with a tidy up as we noticed a few torn seats and grubby paint work in places but for a cheap meal and drinks it's ideal.
We tended to eat at Eastbourne Harbour which is a 5 to 10 min drive away and was excellent for a variety of places to eat and drink morning or night.
We chose Eastbourne as a base to explore that coast as we wanted to go to Brighton to the west and Hastings to the East.
we both have said that this Premier Inn location is ideal for this and we would stop here again in the future.

Easy parking , checking in. Polite and friendly staff . Great room with a bath . comfortable bath good size TV .Wifi great can upgrade to ultimate which is reasonable at £15 a week , we stayed 14 nights.
Working night shift nearby , nice and quite throughout the day and night. We took a mini travel fridge to keep milk in for tea and coffee but we were supplied with free little tubs of milk and tea bags and coffee strips everyday. The eatery is across the carpark in the Mill pub , great breakfasts and dinners with offers of two for one less than a tenner . Great stay all round and we stayed 14 nights.

Never disappointed with any Premier Inn we stay in and we are always impressed with the Premier Inn breakfast, until now! We paid the Premier Inn breakfast with the room through Premier Inn as normal, we were told the breakfast is next door in the Hungry Horse, it tasted horrible and we had to waite 45 minutes, when it came it was cold and was missing items on the plate we asked for. I even ordered a cereal too which I also had to wait 45 mins.

The worst thing we saw was the fact that one of the male stuff was serving customers with his screen mask above his head.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over many years and it has many positives...good location, free parking, helpful staff, clean rooms.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms but a fan is provided which is helpful.

Pub across the car park is fine but wouldn’t be my 1st choice for breakfast or dinner.

Unfortunately the windows in some of the rooms can not be opened due to the pigeons, the noise from sunrise of their cooing and movement on the window alcove keeps you awake and the ledge is covered in their droppings so not at all hygienic. Management need to seriously consider netting these areas up, it is dreadful and really lets the hotel down.

We had two rooms for three nights, my parents in one and myself and my two disabled children in the other. Both rooms dirty, dusty, wrappers, hair bands etc under the beds. TVs both rubbish, loads of time between channel changes, when they actually worked! Both hairdryers broken, as was one window lock in my room, also wall socket with a piece of paper stuck over it saying 'maintenance aware, do not use' and with an autistic 5 year old this was not acceptable, for that matter, any child. Both rooms had no air con and the one tower fan was useless in a room that was showing 30 degrees, asked for a second fan and although told they had run out a reception staff member found me one a while later, however as it only circulates hot air we had three uncomfortable nights.

Horrible, dried out breakfast that seemed as if it had been cooked a while, chairs and tables in restaurant dirty, old and worn out as were the carpets. Restaurant staff however were lovely, only problem was that they were woefully understaffed and this made very hard work for them and caused customer complaints, lots of items missing each morning due to supplies etc

One morning the restaurant was so overbooked we had to return to our rooms for over 30 mins before a table was free.

Premier Inn is uninterested in anything other than if our sleep was 'disturbed' and have closed the complaints I raised by refunding us a paltry £50 between us. My parents are pensioners and I am a single mum who is a carer for my two youngest d children who both have special needs. It wasn't easy to scrape together the money for this stay and we couldn't afford a week anywhere so we are upset and angry at the response we received.

Premier Inn obviously doesn't care about its guests or the condition of some of its hotels, very disappointed indeed with their lack of care.

Standard premier inn really. No problems checking in, clean comfortable rooms. Family rooms have a double and two single beds which is ideal. Next door is a Hungry Horse which serves the breakfast (served to table, not buffet). There is also a Toby Carvery a short walk away if you prefer.

Stayed here in July 2022. The building has a major structural issue which causes the outside to heat up in the day and dispell the heat at night into the hotel. Staff and Premier Inn are aware of this but will not do anything about it. There is no aircon in the rooms and the hotel faces out onto a main road. Even though the temperature is cool outside, the room will remain stifling hot, even with the fan and windows open, so I advise not to stay here on safety grounds. One family checked out immediately due to this. I would have done so if I could have.

The rooms are a bit dirty in general and they don't come and clean it during your stay. Fine....except when the rooms are very hot and you have four people in a family room. I complained on four separate occassions, to the hotel twice, Premier Inn directly and via the feedback form and they are not interested at all.

The restaurant attached is dirty and tired. Breakfast is served between 7am to 9am only and you have to book a table. If you arrive after 8:30am they do not refresh the food. It is cooked to order and cooked poorly and slowly.

Positives - location. The staff are quite friendly but I would never willingly stay here again.

Room was ok, very hot even with the window open all day and night, also the bed hadn’t been properly made and the mattress protector was just lying on the bed and the sheet thrown on top. I found the pillows to be very thin and only given 1 each so had to go to reception to get some more - would have thought a hotel would provide 2 pillows per person as standard. Didn’t sleep too well as it was so hot in the room, was only 10 degrees outside so that wasn’t the cause, and the people above us spent all night running around the room it seemed. Restaurant was fully booked for the evening so had to go elsewhere to eat. Breakfast was very busy, and the tables were not 2M away from each other due to the volume of people inside and there was just 1 waitress running around. Also could not get the wifi to work although this was not the end of the world. The towels were so rough when drying my hands it left them bright red, we went out and got a hand towel and 2 bath towels from Asda as they were so rough. Probably wouldn’t stay there again as we regularly stay in premier inns and have no issues but one seemed below average in all aspects.

If you dont get a room with a disable shower you will find the normal rooms are not suitable the shower is inside the bath and I struggled to climb in so would recommend you ask for the disable rooms which are normal based on the ground floor. or you could try their new hotel in Eastbourne itself if you cant get booked into one.
