I would highly recommend the Cherry Tree hotel. I found the owners very pleasant and accommodating, and the room was clean and pleasant. The breakfast was also very tasty. All in all, a really good experience.

Had a fantastic two nights here, the owners were so accommodating with our very late arrival (00:30 after driving from Leeds). Room was clean and comfortable, hotel itself is in a great location less than 5 minutes walk to the seafront and 10-15 into the town. Can definitely recommend the breakfast, especially the waffles! All in all a really pleasant... More

We stayed down from Friday until the Monday, it was an excellent stay and was like a home from home. We will definitely be coming back again in the future. Polite hosts and friendly at all times. Breakfast was lovely too. Very good value

The hotel advertised 'Parking nearby' but when we arrived on a very rainy and dark Saturday evening there was no parking nearby and we had to drive around for 10 minutes waiting for someone to vacate a space. Entering the hotel we were greeted by Mel who was very pleasant and offered us hot drinks and showed us to our... More

It was my first stay at Cherry Tree Hotel - but it definitely won't be my last. Warm welcome, nice room (clean, well-equipped, nicely decorated), excellent breakfast. Lots of different options for the cooked breakfast, which made it really difficult to choose one, as they all sounded promising. I chose the waffle, which came lovingly garnished with fresh fruit and... More

Melanie's guest house is a top quality establishment, refurbished, and feels relaxing. I stayed for one night, and Melanie went out of her way to ensure I was comfortable even getting up early to make me breakfast. She's friendly and warm. She has a wide range of teas and breakfast was delicious. I'll stay again. 5/5

Great place to stay. Homely and cosy. Clean airy room with comfy bed. Coffee making facilities, tv and radio alarm all in the room and Melanie and Colin were very prompt at lending me an iron and ironing board when asked. Would stay again.

Gorgeous B&B - comfortable beds in a decent sized room and beautifully decorated lounge. Loads of interesting books to borrow too! Great selection of food for breakfast and all really nice. Well located a two minute walk from the sea front and close to the pier, also close to a delicatessen that does great sandwiches, and a street with a... More

Very welcoming. Wonderful clean room with everything provided. The best breakfast I have ever had and the young waitress was very helpful and pleasant. Best bit for me though, was the wonderful coffee machine in the front room with Biscotti biscuits in a jar. Thanks you so much.
