Travellers' Choice
We are a family run hotel with an excellent location on the seafront of Eastbourne looking across the bay towards the Pier. We are only a short walk to the pier, town and amenities. There is a bus stop directly opposite the hotel with services running along the coast and into town. We have a thriving Lunch Club with top class speakers; regular Sunday Lunches with Jazz, Cabaret Dinners, and a Gourmet Club. We are the perfect hotel for any occasion whether it be just a lunch or staying with us in one of our excellent bedrooms.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Took my mum here for her 50th birthday along with my nan. We were sat in the beautiful conservatory with amazing views of the sea and eastbourne pier. The whole experience was amazing. The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious. Everything was homemade. We had a fabulous time. I would 100% recommend the langham for afternoon tea.

Had a lovely 2 night break at the Langham. Upgrade to a bigger room with walk in shower Overlooking the sea which was very nice. We were so lucky with the weather. The food was excellent, both breakfast and evening meals. The staff at the hotel were all lovely and gave great service. Would definitely go back.

What a great British seaside hotel: its a gem. Really friendly and professional hotel staff make the stay even better. I normally stay at the Grand but not anymore! The Barman in the restaurant make the very best cocktails and is a real pro. Finally the food was exceptional. Thank you.

Another super stay. We have just returned from a midweek break and as always previously have enjoyed ourselves. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable with slippers, robes, plentiful tea and coffee, nice warm bathroom and shower and a great sea view. The entire staff are really brilliant, attentive and will look after you on your stay. This was our fifth visit. The town is close by, there are walks along the promenade and over Beachy Head, and local buses to Bexhill and Hastings. The town has some decent shops and an indoor shopping centre. The hotel food is good and plentiful with lots of choice for breakfast especially. The only thing to ask is if the dinner menu could maybe have a couple of even basic additions to the available choices ? We'll no doubt be aiming for a sixth visit. The Winter rates are very competitive and worth every penny. Well done Neil and the entire team

After reading Neil the owners book , I was expecting a very high standard & I was not disappointed! We went on our first ever coach holiday & had a lovely time, despite the wet & windy weather 😂 The hotel was spotlessly clean , the staff were brilliant, bar prices reasonable & the most amazing food I have ever experienced in a hotel & I ve travelled a lot for business. The only negative was the size of the bedroom, we had a twin at the back of the hotel & it was very snug! The bathroom was large though with a massive bath. Perfect position on the sea front Well done to all at the Langham 👏

This is our third visit to this amazing friendly hotel. The food is great, rooms are very clean and winter special is great value. Will definitely be back next year. The seafront location is short walk into town centre, local pub with live entertainment few mins walk, bus stop outside into town or train station and great walks ( seven sisters cliffs) close by.
