Lovely welcoming on arrival by reception, checked in as a group and had 3 rooms between us. every room was immaculate with lovely Elemis toiletries beds lovely & the food in the restaurant was amazing. Staff was so friendly and helpful can’t wait to visit again xxx

Lovely room equipped well. I personally would have liked a mini fridge in the room. Friendly staff enjoyed the food also. Highly recommend. Would stay again but next time in a bigger room. Dog friendly. Clean rooms nicely decorated. Stairs or lift. The only downside for me was the shower door only opened a bit due to hitting the taps and it was difficult to get in due to being right next to the sink. And I kept hitting my elbows in the shower with it being that small. But everything else was great.

We booked this hotel to go with another couple.....for a couple of nights in Llandudno....and it didn't disappoint! We had a warm welcome from the receptionist when we checked in - and soon got settled in this lovely hotel! The rooms were quite small, but we had a nice sea view and the bed was very comfortable. There were toiletries provided and other little touches like an eyemask and ear plugs, which was nice. The bathroom was also quite small, and if you are a larger size....then it may be a squeeze getting in the shower!! However, the rooms were very clean and the bedding and towels were of good quality. The decor in the hotel was lovely....and they had their Christmas trees up and very nicely decorated they were too!! The staff were all very welcoming and friendly and were an asset to the hotel. We had lunch in the hotel when we arrived as well as breakfast and dinner, which we already had booked. The food was all of a good standard, tasty & well served by the staff. The bar area was nice and also dog friendly (in the next room), and anyone with a dog ate in a separate room. All in all, we would fully recommend this hotel and are already looking forward to another visit! …

Stayed in room 308, had paid for a sea view and upgrade. Hotel well appointed, staff very friendly, other than reception. Room very disappointing, nicely furnished but so small especially for the price. Dorma window in the roof but impossible to move without banging your head on the very sloped ceiling. The slope of the ceiling came to chest height. In the dark it’s difficult to avoid. Smallest bathroom I have ever seen. The door won’t open fully due to radiator behind it. Had to stand sideways to enter shower. Gap between shower door opening and wash basin is not the size of a can of hairspray. Toilet roll on the wall behind your head, but not enough room to turn around. Bedroom window also doesn’t open, jammed shut. Spoke to reception explained the window, was asked had I turned the handle, plus head bump issues, no response other than we can give you 2 single rooms. There is no warning of serious head height restrictions, should be made aware at booking. How they are getting away with it from a health and safety point of view, no signage etc, I do not know. Not interested at checkout, was told never had a problem before. Such a shame as it otherwise is a lovely hotel. …

The alternative that was offered was the only rooms available at the time of your stay. All rooms in the hotel are compliant with the current health and safety legislation. Have I visited the same hotel as those who have left 5 stars? We visited for one night only to attend a concert and booked through booking.com. Good points, relatively clean hotel, nice decor. Negative points, booked a standard room for two. The room we were allocated no 113 was at the back of the hotel overlooking the bins and delivery point. Room not suitable if you have walking difficulties have to go down steps to access it. Once inside the room the toilet is to the right and the shower room/cupboard/closet to the left. The shower room is tiny and was too small for my six foot 3 husband to use as he wouldnt have been able to dry himself as it was so small. You then have four steps to walk up into the bedroom. No handrails on the steps and a hazard during the night time. Pillows were lumpy so had a really poor nights sleep and woken up by the bins being emptied. TV did not work. Evening meal, average, small portions. Breakfast (full welsh) no taste and not worth the price, bacon similar to leather on sole of my shoe. Waiting staff were friendly and helpful, reception unfriendly upon arrival, barking room not available until 3, before I had the opportunity to explain we just wanted to drop our bags off until check in time. We won't be returning to this hotel.…

check in was easy, man behind desk was polite and helpfull, we decided to upgrade our room and it was no bother for them(cant thank the man enough that helped), stayed in room 106, massive room! had everything we needed and a fridge! bar was nice and cosy, friendly bar staff, my only gripe is the windows dont open a lot so there is only a small gap for fresh air to circulate around the room(health and safety reasons), other than that it was a good stay! 👌

We stayed at the Llandudno bay hotel on Tuesday evening ,can highly recommend this hotel , on arrival the staff were very welcoming and helpful ,the decor was gorgeous and looked freshly decorated, our room although smallish was very clean and again lovely decor ,the toiletries were great very good quality, tea coffee hot chocolate and bottled water were provided and the shortbread biscuits were delicious, fluffy towels and the slippers were a nice touch ,breakfast was delicious and a great selection including smoked salmon, all the staff were friendly and helpful, wished we were staying for longer and will definitely stay here again, many thanks for marking our short with you very enjoyable

This hotel was excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were very attentive and could not do enough for us. The food was delicious and we ate in the hotel for the two nights we stayed. It is in an excellent position situated very near to the Venue where we were able to walk to within 5 minutes. Would happily stay in the Llandudno Bay Hotel again when we are next visiting Llandudno.
