This hotel is amazing it deserves 6 stars. Just returned from a 3 night stay with my mum who was 82 while we were there. We had a lovely bay view room with fantastic views over the bay we had twin beds with a beautiful bathroom. Tea and coffee with a box of sweets each bathrobes and slippers and toiletries everything was there. Everywhere is spotless. It is a very well maintained and high standard of hotel. All the staff were brilliant we had the cruise theme while we were there and the staff put their heart and sole into it. Fab entertainment in the evening and bingo. The most amazing 4 course meal each evening and free buffet at 11pm. Tea and coffee each afternoon with a film of the country the cruise was in. Everyone joins in it was great fun. We had some lovely guests staying and they were all great with my mum and helped her have a birthday to remember. The breakfast are amazing in the beautiful dining room. This hotel is a credit to the owners, and all the staff from the cleaning staff to waiters to entertainers and the kitchen staff. We have booked for tinsel and turkey in Nov and I cant wait. Nathan you have an incredible hotel well done.

My wife and I stayed at the Tynesdale Hotel ìn Landudno overnight last week. From the time my wife booked to the time we left next day the service we received was first class, nothing was too much trouble. Everything was based on table service because of covid , they had covid precautions in place and we felt very safe because of it.The meals were excellent both in the bar and in the dining room ( covid precautions in place at all times) Our bedroom was small but very clean and airy, the decor was lovely and fresh with everything you could possibly need. The staff were all very polite and helpful .
When we were leaving a young man carried our luggage to the car, even loading it for us which saved us a lot. We had a phone call today saying they had found my reading glasses, luckily we'll be back in Llandudno in October to collect them. We highly recommend the Tynesdale because the staff work very hard to make sure your stay with them is the best it can be.

Clean room on the small side for a double room, not a good night’s sleep mattress very uncomfortable.
Breakfast was very slow as it was waiter service, which would have been alright for the cooked breakfast, but not all off it,then the order was wrong the tea was only warm not hot.
We were asked did we want to upgrade as they had a show on? Surely as a guest of the hotel anyway and using the bar we would have been able to see the artist ?
As it was we had to go out anyway so would not have had dinner in the hotel,
However when settling the bill in the morning we were asked again did we go in the bar to see the show, we reminded her that we did not oh yes just making sure she said, that should make no difference at all.
When we got back in the evening we had to take our drinks to the room as the room where the entertainment was , was very over crowded.
Did not feel welcome in the hotel and the staff at breakfast were quite, unapproachable and no conversation other than what the order was which on arrival they got wrong.
Second stay at this hotel would not stay again gave it a second chance.
On checking website always says no rooms available but when you check at reception there are rooms.
Also parking very bad the car was hit in the very confined tight parking.
Checked out availability for new year whilst there did not bother to book due to being extortionately overpriced for what on offer and the previous experience of the service from the hotel.
I understand this hotel is always full due to its popularity not sure why, they were very stand offish

As we both currently work in the hospitality industry We understand how demanding the role can be, especially in such turbulent times.

We found the staff at The Tynedale to be professional, (without being too formal), courteous and very helpful.

The hotel is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, within a prime location, set on the front of Llandudno Seafront.

My wife had the traditional English breakfast, on both mornings, which was served to a high standard, (and included breakfast potato’s) and served on a clean plate (no geese).

I had the Fresh fruit platter and yoghurt, (even sourcing my favourite flavour, lemon), which I thoroughly enjoyed.

I’d have no hesitation in staying at The Tynedale again and would highly recommend this to anyone wishing to stay in Llandudno.

On a side note, the outside seating, under a large heated canopy was fabulous!!

Well done all around, you are all doing a great job .

5 *****’s!!

Managed to get a late booking for the Tynedale Hotel (last room available).
Arrived slightly early but welcomed by the receptionist who gave us our key and porter took our cases to the room.
The hotel is immaculate and well laid out with decent bar and outside part covered seating area with infra red heating.Happy hour at 5PM till 6.30 with reduced priced drinks.
We had room 1 on floor 1(reception).it was fairly small but adequate with a very nice walk in shower.Room very clean with all new furnishings.
We didn't intend to eat in the hotel but having been unable to get booked in several other establishments we booked The Peppercorn at the Tynedale and were very pleased with our meals so much we decided to book again for the following evening aswell. The food was excellent not a massive menu but still plenty to choose from. This menu changes each day so always something different.
Good value for £19.95 starter, soup, main course and a sweet or cheese board followed by coffee and mints. (5 course under £20)
Found all staff very pleasant and helpful throughout.
Free parking at rear approx 10 to 12 car spaces.
The hotel is well positioned right on the promenade in a good location only 5 mins walk to the shops/ cafes.
This was our first time in Llandudno and were very pleased with our choice of hotels and would recommend it highly and definitely book it again if we are in the area in the future.

We loved our stay here. The modern but tasteful decor, super comfortable bed and very clean. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. We felt safe with the COVID19 measures in place. This included social distancing, signage, hand sanitiser all around the hotel and in your room, table service for drinks and regular clean down if touch points, that were all very good but did not feel intrusive. The outdoor area is covered and heated and a relaxing place to enjoy the wonderful view. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Can’t wait to go back, loved it.

A positive experience for us as explained below:

Price: Fair for the area

Location: Perfect, you walk out of the front of the hotel and hey presto, you're right onto the strip with immediate access to the prom. The pier is only a 4 minute walk away meaning you're never too close to the hustle and bustle and never too far away from it either. This makes for a peaceful experience when in your room.

Car park: Easily accessible from the rear, spacious and safe but be prepared for the stairs if carrying luggage. (Staff will help if you ask)

Hotel hygiene: excellent, modern decor, clean with fresh flowers around reception smelling nice and the room was lovely. Everything smelt fresh, no dust anywhere and the mirrors were crystal clear.

Room: We stayed in room 33. It's big with a comfy larger than expected bed. This room features a seafront view and the window opens fully, this is great for sitting and sipping a cup o tea whilst looking out to sea. My wife liked the number of mirrors and the lighting, she said it was great for doing her make-up. Hairdryer included and a decent cooling fan.

Food: We only had breakfast for 3 days however, we really enjoyed the menu which had variety and local recipe's.

Restaurant: There's two, indoor and outdoor. The Indoor one is underground with wheelchair access if needed. Just like the rest of the hotel the decor is modern and pleasing to the eye.

The outside one is a terraced restaurant on the strip, it's lovely, during evening time, the warmth of the heaters, fairy lights and table candles make it a comforting experience. Great to just relax with a cocktail.

Staff: Fantastic, The whole team are on the ball and we couldn't fault any of them. They're polite, caring, attentive and well presented. The staff were the cherry on top for our visit so well done to you all.

Seagulls: They love Llandudno, I think every hotel suffers their antics. Just under room 33 is a bay window. Unfortunately for us, we had an unwanted alarm clock each morning at 5:30am when Steven seagull, decided to scream each morning with his life gull call.

We really enjoyed our stay here and will come back some day.

Just spent a weekend at The Tyndale. The hotel was absolutely spotless & was cleaned continuously throughout the day. Tables were even covered in cling film when we went down to breakfast to ensure they were kept clean. Breakfast was the best we have ever had in a hotel, great variety, well cooked & beautifully presented. All the staff were very friendly & couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful hotel & we can’t wait to make a return visit.

At the tyndale we went Oma land lubbers cruise .we didn’t know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised . On our day of arrival we were in Hong Kong the hotel was decorated in the fashion of the area and the staff were also appropriately dressed. The food took a Chinese theme .we were given passport and an itinerary of the place we were to visit which included Egypt Italy and finally new York. The hotel to on the decor and food of the country we visited it was absolutely first class. The staff food and the hotel were all first class they couldn’t do enough for you .the room were excellent and varied in price but not quality were clean roomy and nicely furnished. The food and service were second to non .one of the best hotels I have ever been to we enjoyed it so much we booked again for next year . Just a little tip if you fancy going book early as it is so good it gets booked up very quickly. Thank to all the staff for such a memorable time

I am not sure, have never seen any dogs in the hotel when we have been in residence. I would suggest that the person contacts the hotel and poses the question.
