Detailed Reviews
I’ve stayed here several times, and each and very time I’ve stayed the service is off the highest professionalism and with a warm friendly approach. The prices are very reasonable and good value for money, the is a very good selection off rooms available and the staff are happy to help to cater to your special needs. Also the is a good restaurant on site, that serves food most of the day witch is especially handy if you been out and about visiting the local area or fancy a cheeky lie in, not to mention the food of a high standard too. I most definitely be staying again and can highly recommend this place.

Just got back from staying here for 2 nights. Really enjoyable stay even with Storm Francis arriving yesterday. Nice big room and big bathroom. It's a really nice pub downstairs, can't comment on the food as we didn't have any in the restaurant/bar although there seemed to be a quite a few people in the restaurant. We love a full cooked buffet breakfast which you cant have at the moment, but they tried their best with breakfast to your room sausage/bacon baps, cereal toast etc. Good location 15-20 min walk straight down the road and you are at the seafront where everything is. Really liked LLandudno had some great meals in the town at Osborne House, and a Curry at the Blue Elephant . Would recommend staying at the Gwesty Links suited us fine.

We only stayed one night as we were on a tour of North Wales but would have happily stayed longer at this hotel.
The hotel is easy to find, lots of free parking. It may be a little too far out of the centre fo anybody with mobility problems.
The staff were attentive and courteous and make you feel welcome.
The room was spacious but was a little warm for my liking even with the windows open( there was a little fan running on the dressing table so it must have been commented on before).
The menu in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced, the table had been wiped but still felt a little greasy. Wooden table tops are very difficult to keep clean in my experience but overall we were more than satisfied with our one night stay

A clean comfortable stay and everyone friendly. We paid £30 for breakfast, only to be told that due to the pandemic, it would be room service only. Only hot food was a bap with either bacon or sausage. Also had toast and cereal. Not worth the money. Also ate in the restaurant on the eat out to help out scheme. Very tast food, only the portions were very small. I felt they’d left 50% of the food off with the scheme. So if you’re hungry I’d eat elsewhere. Overall a nice clean comfortable stay. I would stay again, but just would eat elsewhere.

Just returned home from a nights stay with my five year old . We booked a family room and we weren't disappointed , we had a double bed and a double sofa bed , a little dressing room area and a huge bathroom ,all very clean and comfortable . Biscuits , hot drinks and bottled water were in the room too aswell as toiletries which is a nice touch .
We ate in the restaurant at night and that was lovely as was breakfast the next morning , you select your breakfast and a time the evening before .
Free parking is always a bonus and location was great .
Very friendly staff ,we will definitely recommend to family and friends and will return ourselves too

Gwesty Links is easy to find and a great location, just a 5 min walk to the sea front. The staff were very helpful and friendly, we went to the restaurant on arrival and had lunch - very nice restaurant and the food was of good quality and ample portions. Our room was clean and had all the amenities you expect, very clean and easy to access. There is a rear door access to the hotel and that means you don't have to walk with all your bags through the restaurant and pub. The breakfasts are great, good portion size and choice - you put your order in the night before via a order form. Great stay so thanks!

The hotel was nice, the bath room didn't have very much privacy at night when your silhouette could be seen in the shower or on the toilet from the car park.
Rooms were cleanish.
The was no breakfast because of covid which wasn't good because we had to find cafes near by.
My friend staying in the room with me cut his foot on a piece of metal poking out the bottom of the bed, when we told the hotel they just said "oh, would you like a plaster" i wouldn't go back the hotel was nice inside and out to look at but the staff wasn't very friendly.

Great value friendly hotel. This is a 10 minute walk (flat route) to the centre so we left our car on the free car park and walked into the centre each day. Conveniently located to some excellent shops.
I have marked it down 1 star as we were unfortunate forgotten about at breakfast one morning. Ended up sitting waiting for a whole hour, the waiter informed us they had lost our breakfast sheet which you take down to the bar the night before, this couldn’t of been true as they had our cereal ready on the table for us? It was a shame we waited for an hour as we missed our bus tour time but thankfully they allowed us to move this. Full English Breakfast wasn’t amazing, I also asked for poached eggs and received fried but at this point I couldn’t wait any longer.
Great size room. Comfy bed. Pillows are very soft not to my liking had to put extra towel underneath to support my neck. Rooms can be noisy we had a crying baby next door for many hours at night so the walls must be very thin.
Overall we did enjoy our stay and would stay again.

+1
The rooms are beautifully decorated with lovely prints show casing the local area and ample lighting. Plenty of storage space, a writing desk & chair, kettle with tea/coffee/biscuits provided.
On the down side. We had a room on the first floor, so you could hear the people on the floor above you walking around and if they were awake and doing things – so were you.
There is no air conditioning so you can’t control the temperature of your room and when we visited it was very hot. The room had two small fans which did nothing to cool the room and barely circulated the air in the room. You could only open one of the windows a few inches, but the hotel is located on a roundabout, so you get the road noise from the traffic and very little air.
It was disappointing that the room did not have a little bar fridge in your room, so you can’t chill anything or keep your water cold. No room safe to store your valuables.
The bathroom was very large and clean, with good lighting, nice fluffy towels and large shower, however the water pressure was very weak. No exhaust fan and we tried to open the window, but it would not keep open, so it was hard to ventilate the bathroom.
There is free onsite parking, the pub downstairs serves a nice range of beers and beverages and it is a nice area to relax in and grab a drink.
The property is located away from the pier and main promenade; however, it is walkable – about a fifteen minute walk. Supermarket is located across the road.
The room was clean and spacious, parking was convenient, but then lacked in other areas, like being extremely hot and uncomfortable to stay in. On the pricey.

Location
The hotel is well placed for a short walk into town. There is a lot of parking because there is extra for the pub and restaurant, open to non-residents. However the hotel sits at the corner, right on top of what must be the busiest roundabout in Llandudno. There is traffic noise from very early to late at night, the latter being when the boy racers take over from the normal traffic. Expect lorry noise in the morning. There was no sound proofing because the ancient poorly maintained windows presumably cannot be changed if the building is listed.
Room
We were in 107 facing the Great Orme. The room was large as was the en suite. There was plenty of space for clothes. The furnishings were fine. The room was too hot; the fans provided just moved the hot air around. Only one window opened a few inches but this provided inadequate ventilation and the open window only served to increase the traffic noise level. We must have been above the kitchen, because from 7 am to 10:30 pm we heard the constant drone and hum of what we assumed was the kitchen extractor fan - this noise was inside the room. It was mildly annoying. The other rooms would have been above the bar and dining room. There was no mirror in the room. My wife had to make do with the TV!
Breakfast
The cooked breakfast was perfectly fine although the calorie count on the menu gave us heart failure. What let the hotel down was the continental breakfast. They had a very limited choice of yoghurts on our first day and ran out the second. The juice was not replenished nor were the pastries. They operated a timed slot for breakfast. On our first day we realised that by taking the latest slot we ended up with a tiny table (the others had not been cleared away) and what was left of the continental (which had not been replenished). We had to ask for croissants, which took 20 minutes to be cooked. We did that because we did not want a cooked breakfast, so with the inadequate continental we went hungry into town to top up. The second day we ignored the slot time (as everyone else seemed to do) and came down early to ensure not being hungry for going home. We decided to have a cooked breakfast because of this. Even then there were only 2 yoghurts of the unpopular flavours left; the waitress admitted that was all they had. Coffee was provided on a cup by cup basis, there was no pot or hot water provided. This just came across as mean or silly.
