Went here for a meal with colleagues. What a lovely change to have really attentive staff, nothing too much trouble and extremely well trained. The food was well cooked and very tasty. A really lovely experience. Looking forward to our next visit.

Has this been converted to a B & B with no evening meal service?
Hi, no the Merrion is still running a superb restaurant each evening, the tariff is now based on a B&B price for the room with Dinner priced at £25 per person, you choose if you wish to dine with us or go out into town. Both Gareth and Paul are running the kitchen and the food is as good as it always was, with plenty of local produce.
