The hosts were fabulous. So very kind and accommodating. Bill & Charmaine were so very kind - helped me with parking, my wet and sandy jeans, and were lovely to my doggy Humphrey. The location is very central near the pier, the breakfast is top notch, and the room was high quality and very cosy. A home from home....loved it!

What a fabulous, friendly and lovely couple Bill & Charmaine are, checking in was quick, Bill kindly took our case to the room.

The room (room 3) has lovely wall paper, a good shower, and a little sofa area, so can watch the world go by outside the window.

Breakfast was very tasty with local produce used, Bill was (and still is a chef) so knows how to do a good breakfast to start the day,

Charmaine is kind and caring and goes above and beyond to ensure that we have everything needed.

Would happily go back if in Llandudno again, so why not try the place out!

Lovely couple of nights in this homely B&B. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. Gail had a pot of tea ready for us in an instant and Mick assisted with our luggage and finding a parking space. We had a comfortable room, with small but adequate en-suite and a sofa to relax on. TV, drinks tray and a most welcome fan to help with the heat.
Breakfast was lovely, quality produce, nicely cooked and presented. Gail also bakes her own cakes for the tea room which we didn’t sample this time but looked delicious. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated - even their small courtyard garden was a picture of colour!
Most importantly, they made our dog just as welcome, spoiling her with cheese and yoghurt at breakfast! We gathered that Gail & Mick were still very new to the B&B business but you’d be hard pushed to tell, they are natural hosts and nothing is too much trouble.
Aside from parking, which is never easy in Llandudno, Mostyn House is in a great location handy for the prom, the pier, park, tram and cable car and town centre too!
Sure to return!

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in 40 years of travel. Bill (the owner) was a wonderful host but his wife was the most rude and abusive person I have ever met. Bill was welcoming but his wife made it quite clear that our little dog was begrudgingly accepted in the hotel each morning. Without going into all the details, on the third evening we were told to “clear off” after requesting to borrow two forks to eat a snack in our room. We had to travel home as there was no were else to accommodate us at such a late hour. Avoid this place like the plague!

We stayed overnight at Mostyn Guest House with our English pointer. The accommodation is newly decorated and done so to such a high standard and finish. The property is immaculately clean! The guest house is in an amazing location and walking distance to the seafront, pier, shops and restaurants. The breakfast was fantastic and very accommodating to our vegetarian dietary requirements. Coming from Staffordshire we were delighted to see Staffordshire Oatcakes on the breakfast menu. We would highly recommend the afternoon tea. This was a real treat with delicious homemade sandwiches and cakes. You couldn’t ask for more friendly, genuine and caring hosts.

We spent two nights at this delightful B&B. The individual rooms and breakfast area have been beautifully decorated to reflect the Victorian character of the house. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming and provided a most excellent breakfast. Location is perfect for access to the shore, the tram to the Great Orme and to local restaurants. This is a lovely place to stay when enjoying a visit to Llandudno.

We stayed here while visiting family over Christmas, and couldn't ask for better hosts - Mick and Gail are very informative and helpful. The room itself has everything we needed, very spacious and well decorated. We opted for breakfast every morning which was made from fresh high quality ingredients, there was a large variety and was delicious! Highly recommend :)

Just leaving Mostyn Guest House after spending a lovely 2 days there.

Gail and Mick and superb hosts and made us feel welcome and at home straight away. Our dog was also made very welcome.

The breakfast was plentiful, delicious and beautifully presented. We also sampled Gail's scones and lemon curd cakes too which were delicious.

We have already booked up for this time next year and are looking forward to our next afternoon tea there.

Thank you Gail and Mick. You are fantastic people.

Found this place at random whilst searching'dog friendly' in Llandudno. Owners Bill and Charmaine are delightful, friendly, chatty, very welcoming of our Labrador. Good sized front bedroom with ensuite, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast freshly cooked by Bill with a sausage for the Lab.Beautifully situated right at the foot of the Great Orme, 1 minute walk to the pier and beach.Old fashioned hospitality never loses its charm.

This guest house stands out on the street amongst a all host of other guesthouses, we were attracted by the Palour - Tea Room.
We called in for Tea, Scones, Jam and Cream - which were lovely. The Palour was beautifully decorated and hosts were very welcoming and chatty. The food was homemade and tasty. A real find! After meeting the hosts and seeing the inside of the accommodation and the high finish I would definitely stay here - a great base, location and hosts.
