We stayed here in September before the tighter covid restrictions. We were fortunate to find a pay and display parking space near the hotel on the seafront as the hotel's small car park was full. We were checked in by quite an officious receptionist and were surprised to be asked to pay for our stay on arrival. We were upgraded to a lovely suite which had big windows overlooking the seafront so we could watch the world go by. It was very comfortable but could have done with some dusting in the corners especially in the bathroom. We enjoyed a complimentary afternoon tea as we had booked directly with the hotel and had dinner in both the terrace bar and the Chantery restaurant. We enjoyed the Terrace bar more as we had a table overlooking the seafront and the food was reasonably priced and tasty. In Chantery's the starters and main courses were nothing special although the desserts were delicious. We had a 7.30pm booking but we felt we were being hurried along all the time so the staff could set up for breakfast. For an expensive restaurant it wasn't very relaxing. Breakfast was all served at the table and was good. The swimming pool was well organised in 30 minute slots so I could enjoy a swim and 10 minutes in the jacuzzi safely each afternoon. We would probably stay here again if we visited LLandudno.…
I stayed here overnight with my sister for a girly weekend and it was amazing. Our room had a brilliant sea view (see photos)and it felt like the best room in the hotel. There was a table and chairs in the window which meant we could admire the view in comfort. It was a lovely touch for you to give us a free cream tea which we enjoyed immensely at our table in the window area. The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. I have never eaten in a restaurant where the staff were so attentive, but not intrusive. The food was gorgeous and worth every penny. My only grumble was please put something chocolatey on your dessert menu. There have been some other reviews about parking, but we got there early and managed to park on the hotel car park. At the time there was also plenty of on street parking available. We are already planning our next stay and can’t wait to go back. …
This is an excellent hotel. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean in a great location. All the staff without exception were very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Will defo be back there again.
I would definitely recommend a stay here. Lovely position right on the front overlooking the sea. The customer service has been second to none, every single member of staff has been really helpful and polite. The restaurant was also nice with tasty food. The room was very comfortable with a very large bathroom, very clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Fiona and i would just like to say a massive thank you to all the staff during our few days at The Imperial, we had amazing weather which certainly enhanced our stay. From arriving at 9.30am on Sunday for breakfast on the Terrace to our 2 nights enjoying the amazing dinner in the Chantry restaurant we had an absolutely wonderful time. We would like to mention the exceptional service in the restaurant from Carrie, Stan***(sorry didnt get his full name) & Caterina who all made sure our holiday was 1st Class, please pass on our sincere thanks to them. Our room on the 3rd had the most beautiful views both up the promenade and directly out to sea and the pier and The Orme, truly wonderful. Our time in the Spa/pool was both well managed and delightful and was the perfect thing before getting ready for dinner. Please pass on our congratulations to the whole team for making our mini holiday so special. Kind regards Jeremy & Fiona Tetley…
