First impressions were good though when we checked into our room we were a little disappointed as it is in need of renovation, but was adequate and clean, and the price was very reasonable. Bed breakfast and evening meals were included the food was nothing special but again was fine for our stay. Staff could not have been more helpful... More

This will be straight to the point, only good thing was the staff being polite. Everything else you can think of is really poor. If your 50 or under do not go. Full of elderly so no entertainment or anything. And even the guests there seemed to complain around me. Slept in a child's bed all week. Water running down... More

It is what it is a victorian built hotel whose rooms are slightly tired but were clean and comfortable. Good value for money on a Groupon deal. Breakfast was good. Cannot comment on evening meal as the menu was uninspiring so ate at the Queen Victoria (very good). Car park is horrendously small. Had to cancel our reservation as I... More

Had brilliant 2 night stay at this hotel with breakfast included. The room was perfect and had a good side view of the beach. There is an excellent restaurant on site and we had afternoon tea on arrival with scones and sandwiches and an evening meal on the second night which was exactly to our taste. There was also evening... More

Hotel is looking a little tired but more than acceptable from the outsid. Parking is a bit inconvenient if you have dogs to put in a car each meal time but not bad if you are lucky. Food deal is not at all good. In this day and age even saying "for what it cost it was ok" it was... More

Came to the very , very beautiful Llandudno , anticipating a great weekend away. Arrived at the hotel to the tightest car park , probably on the planet , considering you have to pay for it. Exterior of the hotel needs a serious ' lift '. Interior was dated , but the reception and bar area where tidy enough and... More

We booked this hotel through Wowcher and thought it would be a lovely winter getaway to a seaside town we both love. We aren't naive enough to think that hotels booked through an internet deal aren't usually the best in the area but we were massively disappointed with the hotel. From the outside (front ) it doesn't look to bad... More

The Ambassador is actually 5 hotels in one which makes it quite fun finding your way around. I think due to its large size it's been quite hard to maintain over the years and in parts looks a bit tired. Our room was clean, adequate if not a little cramped. The bed firm but comfortable. The bathroom was fully fitted... More

stayed at the hotel over the weekend, after visiting the poppy display in caernarvon. the lift is small admittedly, but people are now lazy and won't walk up the stairs. the food was not bad for the price we paid. we had a room on the first floor with sea views. this was the best hotel we have stayed at...
