After a very difficult year health wise we needed a short break to recharge our batteries, so lucky my friend who lives in Llandudno recommended The Elm Tree. From arrival Lynette and her staff could not have been more helpful. The room was perfect and the breakfast was outstanding. We hope once the Covid-19 situation improves that we will be able to return. The Covid-19 set up was perfect, sanitisers placed outside and inside, breakfast on a rota to east social distancing. Rooms perfectly clean. The team had covered everything. Thank You.

I'm so pleased to know that your much needed break after a really stressful time, exceeded your expectations. This has been a challenging period for most of our guests and The Elm Tree intends to offer that opportunity to enjoy some normality in relaxation and comfort within a safe environment. As an adult only hotel we're able to implement more subtle measures but nonetheless within strict confines of the government guidelines. I'm determined that the ambiance of our hotel is not compromised and guests should be safe and uninhibited. As a small boutique property we took the decision not to run at maximum occupancy, despite the strong demand, to ensure sufficient space and facilities available to move around and relax in public areas without having to shield from other occupants. Your positive feedback is so welcome and I'm delighted you enjoyed your stay. We hope to see you back in the future and stay well in the meantime, regards.

What a delight it was to stay here for 2 nights. As previous reviews will tell you, Lynette is a professional and the warmest welcome was given.
We stayed in room 7 - not a large room, but the sea view is lovely. Room was clean, there are drinks making facilities and the breakfast choices are plentiful. Something I did notice was that the drawers were very clean - might seem odd to mention but it’s a pet hate of mine to open a drawer and see it looking a bit dusty (or worse) because who wants to put underwear or clothing in that? Attention to detail is evident in this hotel. Location is perfect, we had no real problems parking the car despite it being seafront. Street parking is free between 4pm and 10am, £3.70 for up to 4 hours I think or £5.00 for the whole day - I think that’s pretty good.
Take the time to pop into Snooze for lovely drinks, super near to the hotel, although there is an honesty bar in the hotel if you prefer to stay in.
Rooms are very good value for money including breakfast, don’t hesitate to book here if you are wavering, you won’t be disappointed.

Thank you for the time to leave your thorough review. I appreciate your personal recommendation based on the experience you had at The Elm Tree including useful information on meal options and parking! Our location is perfect to access the many tourist attractions as well as restaurants although Snooze is a firm favourite due to its easy access and outstanding menu options. More so than ever, impeccable housekeeping standards are essential and I'm pleased you noticed this during your stay too. Our breakfast service is always a highlight of the stay and we've arranged staggered seating times to ensure guest safety and comfort. I hope we may welcome you back and it was a pleasure to host your stay. Regards.

From the moment you make the reservation the professional service provided by Lynette and her team is second to none.
All rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean, breakfast is of a very high standard served in a relaxing dining area overlooking the bay.
A comfortable lounge and front terrace area are just what is required after a day either golfing or sightseeing.
I look forward to returning later this year and in 2022.
Thankyou on behalf of all of our group.

Arrived on the first day that the Elm Tree opened after lockdown. Lynette had organised a long stay parking space outside the hotel, we masked up and sanitised and were shown to our beautiful room overlooking the bay. Fabulous breakfasts with plenty of choice. Lovely front garden for a G&T in the evening while we decided where to eat. We will definitely be making the Elm Tree one of our regular places to stay - thank you Lynette and everyone for making us feel safe and welcome.

The Elm Tree is in a great location by the side of pier and has the most amazing views from the bedrooms that overlook the whole of the bay.
Lynette the owner was very friendly and helpful, recommending on restaurants and even offering to ring up and book for us.
The breakfast was high quality produce and great service.
The room was very clean, nicely decorated and cleaned each day, which is something you don't find in most little hotels.
The view for me was just amazing and made even better as the weather was perfect.
Would be go back... YES !!!!

We returned to The Elm Tree at the end of February for a 3 night stay. As usual we were warmly welcomed by Lynette and her staff. Our room was beautifully presented with fresh flowers and fresh milk too. The hotel is well positioned on the north curve of Llandudno bay just above the pier. The views from our bedroom window was stunning with a full view of the whole of the bay. This view can also be enjoyed from the dining room and the gorgeously sumptuous lounge. This room is a relaxing and comfortable place to read, chat or just enjoy the view. Breakfast is superb. Beautifully cooked and presented food with a good choice and fresh fish on request. A well laid out buffet and full English breakfast with all the trimmings is available and Lynette and her staff are very attentive to each guests individual needs. Lynette is a fantastic host and her own high standards are reflected everywhere at The Hotel. We look forward to our next visit which hopefully will be in the very near future.

Many thanks for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. As always is a sincere pleasure to host your stays and we shall miss you until your next visit! The Elm Tree offers an ideal location for guests wanting a relaxing break to enjoy the spectacular scenery and surrounds of Llandudno. The Executive Suite of course is a prime room with its spacious living areas and sweeping views across the vast bay and mountains in the back ground. I'm delighted you enjoy our breakfast menu which presents a good choice of local produce and a hearty freshly cooked full breakfast. Just what you need before setting off for the day! We will be looking forward to seeing you and take care, thank you for the support. Best regards,

Managed to have a two night stay over the Bank Holiday weekend. It isn’t possible to do justice for this small family run hotel.Lynette not forgetting the staff sets this place apart. The overall experience and hospitality is incredible.
Bedrooms and the communal areas are kept very clean. The views towards the bay is enchanting after a hearty breakfast watching the world go by sitting in the front garden . We arrived late afternoon on Saturday and I managed to find a parking space in the long stay car park on Gloddaeth Avenue a 10 minute walk away £4.80 for 24 hours. Whenever we stay in Llandudno again there is only one hotel we would consider. 10/10

It was a pleasure to host your stay at The Elm Tree and I appreciate your time to leave your comments. Your advice on parking options is welcome as parking can be a challenge in the peak season. While we endeavour to 'find a spot' if possible, its not guaranteed and therefore wise to have a 'plan B'. Our location is in the perfect spot but as a result, we are in a busy area - the views do make up for it though. I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay and would love to welcome you both back again soon. Regards.

Could not have asked for better accommodation for the room and the hotel.
The cooked breakfast was ordered whilst using fruit juice and cereals , and arrived with perfect timing a few minutes later.Breakfast of our choice, perfectly cooked.
Location of The Elm Tree was ideal for a short walk into the main shopping ,restaurants and pubs centre of the town, and just a short walk to the Great Orme train and Cable Car stations.
This Hotel is a real credit to Lynette and her team, run like caring clockwork for the benefit of the guests. The Elm Tree is excellent value for money, being one of the best we have ever stayed in.

Thank you for your wonderful review and taking the time to share them. Its so rewarding to know that we've ticked all the right boxes for you and overall your experience was great. Short breaks can be so memorable if they just work and myself and the team do our best to ensure that happens on every stay. Our location is ideal for easy access to tourist attraction, shopping and restaurants and of course the views are spectacular. We hope to see you back again soon. Regards.

We have stayed at The Elm Tree many times in the past and this 19 night stay in Room 1 was perfect in every way.

The Elm Tree overlooks the whole of the magnificent Llandudno promenade, sea front and pier and is simply the best and excellent in every way from cleanliness and friendliness to a fabulously cooked breakfast where all diets are catered for, it just has that extra special quality that is hard to find anywhere else these days.

Lynette the owner and her team always go that extra mile to make your stay as comfortable and as pleasant as possible and if you are looking for somewhere to eat in the evening Lynette is always willing to advise and book a table for you.

The Elm Tree hotel is consistently good and we never have to wonder if our next stay, which will be in September, will be as good as our previous stay because we know it will be.

Having you both back after such a long period of time was just wonderful! Your 19 days stay flew by and I'm pleased you were able to enjoy some lovely days out and relax on the terrace overlooking the bay and promenade. We so enjoy your company and one of the advantages of a 'boutique' hotel is the personal relationships we're able to create with our guests - that's precisely what makes each visit so enjoyable for us too! We look forward to seeing you soon now and thank you for your time to leave such a lovely review. Regards.

My room was perfect with a beautiful bay window and all the details in the room working together to create a cosy and warm space. The colours, fabrics, decor to the comfy armchairs and bedding all create the unique ambience in each room.

Lynette goes the extra mile, again managing all the details that make up a great customer experience. Highly recommend The Elm Tree for a personalised and quaint base to chill as well as experience Llandudno and the surrounding beauty.
