After three previous cancelled bookings due to Covid 19, we were finally able to take our first holiday at the Cliffbury at the end of May 2021. It was well worth the wait. First class Covid measures and precautions were evident throughout, with social distancing, cleaning and sanitising measures in place and as a result we felt totally comfortable and relaxed. Our room (No.2) had everything we needed and the separate bathroom made all the difference. The full Welsh cooked breakfast was excellent, with not only quality local ingredients, but also perfectly cooked by Claire. A very impressive Guest House, friendly and at the same time professionally run by Gareth and Claire. We have already booked again for next year and very much look forward to our next stay (Coronavirus permitting!)

We have stayed at The Cliffbury Guest House for quite a few years now and it never fails to impress. Gareth and Claire work incredibly hard and always go out of their way to make all guests welcome and comfortable.
We find the peaceful location ideal with ample parking and only 5 - 10 minutes walk to Llandudno’s many amenities and attractions.
All en-suite rooms are very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. They are spacious with extremely comfortable beds made up with quality, crisp white linen.
We always look forward to the choice of breakfasts which are cooked to perfection using local quality produce. Thank you Claire.
It was reassuring to know that very good Covid precautions were in place and were well communicated by Gareth prior to our arrival.
For us, The Cliffbury has everything you could wish for and we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in a top quality Guest House.
Thank you Gareth and Claire - The Cliffbury is a credit to you both.

Our experience at the Cliffbury was really great, Gareth was very welcoming and friendly throughout our 3 night stay and extremely cautious regarding Covid-19 and preventing any spread. We were to phone before entering to ensure no crowding in the hallway, there was hand sanitizer in the corridor, we were to wear masks when walking in shared spaces, so we felt very safe and comfortable despite the pandemic. The breakfast was perfect, There were several options, although each day I selected the full-english and it was fantastic, my partner was also happy with her cereal and toast options. Our room was really clean and well decorated with a lovely view of the Great Orme and Snowdonia. The location is set a little back from the main highstreet, so the area is nice and quiet, and Llandudno being a small town... Everything was easily accessible on foot. Overall a really great stay. Thank you Gareth!

We spent two nights in a twin room, the room was big and spacious with its own seating area!
The rooms were immaculate, which was great considering Covid and even though restrictions had been lifted Gareth still continued to enforce mask wearing, which filled us with confidence.
Breakfast was simple but delicious and the room was well stocked with tea and coffee etc.
The B&B is also very well positioned for the sea front, highly recommended!

The Cliffbury is run by Gareth & Claire who keep the house immaculate and welcoming. The rooms are lovely with comfy beds, crisp white bed linen and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts are lovely, cooked by Claire, always well presented using quality produce.
The B&B is situated on a quiet road with off road parking to the front. It is a short walk to the main attractions of Llandudno and the lovely promenade, or a walk to the West Bay in the opposite direction. There are many places to eat to suit all tastes, but would definitely pre book as they get very busy.
Gareth & Claire try to keep everyone safe and masks are worn in the public areas and there is hand sanitiser available.
Its a really lovely place to stay and enjoy a seaside break. Thank you so much to Gareth & Claire.

This is an excellent Bed and Breakfast superbly run by a lovely couple, Gareth and Claire. It is spotlessly clean throughout, and a keen attention to detail is apparent. No guests should have any Covid concerns either, as everyone's safety is a priority. Guests wear masks at all times, other than when in their own room, or seated for breakfast. Breakfasts have been split into two sittings to facilitate social distancing.

The breakfasts themselves were clearly prepared using only the highest quality ingredients. The location is ideal, in a lovely, mainly residential area, but just a five minute flat walk to the town centre, a couple more minutes gets you to the promenade. The Cliffbury also benefits from off road parking. All in all pretty much perfect.

We enjoyed our break in Llandudno immensely, and hope to return next year, and will definitely be staying at the Cliffbury again.

What an amazing experience from the initial booking and the emails from Gareth and Claire through to our leaving.
You are greeted on arrival by warm and friendly hosts and taken to your room which is spotless, you won’t find a speck of dust anywhere.
Gareth gave us the rundown of Llandudno and was always available should you need absolutely anything.
The king size beds were comfortable and the room was enormous with comfortable sofa and chair.
The breakfasts are wonderful and freshly prepared with good quality ingredients, Gareth is attentive but not intrusive.
We whole heartedly recommend the Cliffbury and will most certainly return.
Thank you Gareth and Claire foe a lovely few days.

We were greeted by Gareth on our arrival at The Cliffbury before I'd even managed to locate his phone number on my paperwork, a very nice reception and a brief rundown of what to do in these strange times.
All is very straight forward as to Covid, masks and sanitizer etc.
The Cliffbury is very clean and welcoming, we were in room 3 overlooking the front. The room is lovely and very nicely laid out, and again spotless as was the bathroom. Tea and coffee available and replenished when needed.
The breakfast's cooked by Claire, and brought in by Gareth were excellent, there is also plenty of choice.
The bed was very comfortable with lovely crisp bedding.
Lovely people.
Lovely house.
Lovely room.
Lovely food.
Thank you very much to Gareth and Claire.
There is also onsite parking, and even for us oldies only a few minutes walk into Llandudno.

We booked this holiday when we were here last year. The Cliffbury is our perfect idea of what a Guest House should be. It is a first class establishment and is a credit to Gareth and Claire the owners. There is a friendly and efficient atmosphere throughout. The Covid safety measures in place helped to put our minds at rest during our stay. The Cliffbury has high standards with quality and tasteful decor. Our room was spacious and also light and airy, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast, not only using quality produce, was also perfectly cooked by Claire. The location is in a quiet street, just a few minutes walk to the amenities of the town. There is a large car park on site that can accommodate cars for all the rooms. It is a very enjoyable experience staying at the Cliffbury and is highly recommended. We have already booked again for next year.
