What a fantastic little guest house with a very big, warm welcome from Dave and Michael, two of the best proprietors along with Ian who serves the wonderful breakfast. The breakfast is preordered due to covid restrictions but nothing is left out, fantastic hot and cold food.
All covid safety measures are in place to keep guests safe during their visits.
The hosts are very friendly, creating a lovely atmosphere with lots of laughter and they can’t do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble.
Our large bedroom with a gorgeous sea view over the bay was very comfortable and spotless. Complete with tea/coffee facilities, with complimentary water, biscuits, mints and bathroom accessories.
Can Y Bae has a lovely, quaint bar too with reasonably priced drinks and local ciders.
Dave and Michael certainly make you feel relaxed during your stay.
Thankyou to you all for a very enjoyable stay, we will definitely be returning.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Can-y-Bae and it’s one of the best B and Bs we have stayed in. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The place is spotlessly clean (and I’m fussy!) and is immaculately kept. Although Covid restrictions have generally eased, we felt very safe with the measures that were taken with cleanliness. Our room had plenty of room for us (including our dog) and the bed was very comfortable (which is very important in my opinion!). It’s perfectly situated on the promenade and you can park on the street outside the hotel all day for £5.70. The town is easily within walking distance with lots of restaurants to choose from and lots of nice shops. The cooked breakfast was fabulous, nice and hot (and on hot plates which I am fussy about also). The dog was allowed in the bar with us in the evening which was great. All in all it’s a fantastic place to stay and we can’t recommend it enough. We will definitely be booking again.

As usual we were looked after by Dave and Mike extremely well. They went out of their way to accommodate for some aged persons' medical conditions. The breakfasts were tasty, well presented and all the staff could not have been more helpful. The whole environment was in keeping with Covid government recommendations. We felt completely safe and happy during our too brief four night stay. Plenty of sanitizing gel available for guests, and masks were worn in line with the aforementioned recommendations. The hotel was very clean and we shall visit again without any trepidation.

We stayed for two nights over bank holiday and what a lovely place to stay. The welcome you receive is so lovely and friendly and we felt as though we had been welcomed into a family. Before we had even arrived I had spoken with Michael on the phone about some recommendations on where to eat for Sunday lunch. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and it was a good lunch! At the moment the only food being offered here is Breakfasts due to COVID-19. The breakfasts were delicious, nice quality and cooked well. We were given a menu the day before to indicate what we would like and the time we would like our breakfast slot to be, again due to COVID they are spacing guests to ensure that everyone is safe. They really are doing everything they can to ensure everyone is looked after at these weird times, including wearing face coverings where necessary.
The room we were given was sea view which was a lovely surprise, and a nice big room with seats by the window to watch the world go by.
There was a problem with the bathroom on the second day which was dealt with immediately and we were moved into the room next door, which although slightly smaller was still a sea view. That was much appreciated.
Everything about this hotel was quality, the towels were thick and fluffy and big! The bedding was soft and a good thread-count. Even the selection of refreshments in the room was plentiful. tea, herbal teas, coffee and some gingerbread men which made me chuckle and reflects the sense of humour and the friendly nature of this hotel 😁
We used the bar and had an enjoyable couple of red wines and sat in the lounge watching the sea and the people on the promenade.
we would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a friendly and welcoming small hotel. It’s in a lovely location on the sea front with shops close by and cafes and ice cream parlours and a Starbucks just around the corner.

A great little hotel to stay in, the price was good and the room was lovely. . The Customer Service and breakfast was excellent. The only slight downside was that breakfast was a little late for me at 8.30am, as I was going on a hike that started early day. However on a positive side everything was ready when I got to the restaurant for breakfast at 8.30pm

They also kindly looked after my luggage after I checked out, as I came to Llanduduo by train, so had no car to leave my luggage in. This hotel was a great find and I would love to go back someday.

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was a very nice break. The room was clean and tidy with a fantastic view of the sea. The breakfast was tasty with very nice coffee and the owners were very friendly and helpful. We had a great weekend and so did our dog. I will definitely be going back here.

we spent one night in august in this lovely little Hotel on the promenade.
Llandudno was packed and all hotels pretty booked, so we were lucky to get a room in Can-Y-Bae with short time notice and even for a very good rate, wich included also Breakfast.
The room was very clean and cute with a very comfi bed and the staff is just super nice! We will definitely come again!

I had a 3 night stay at this lovely small hotel. On arriving I was greeted warmly by David. My room was on the 1st floor which you could access by stairs or lift. The room was lovely, clean and welcoming with all the coffee/tea facilities plus 2 free bottles of water and gingerbread men biscuits. The shower was lovely and hot and towels big and fluffy. You had a choice of breakfast from fruit juices, fruit, cereal and the full cooked, which filled me for most of the day. David Michael and Ian were just great hosts, and so friendly. I hope to book again in November. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and would give 10 stars if could. Thank you Michael David and Ian.

As always had an excellent stay at the Can y Bae. Michael and Dave make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms well equipped and comfortable and location perfect on the promenade. Well stocked bar and local information provided. Excellent breakfast choices….and have to mention the amazing poached eggs. Can’t wait to return soon.

Good afternoon from Can-Y-Bae, Llandudno. Thank you for your interest in Can-Y-Bae. Can-y-Bae does not have a private car-park, but parking is generally available on the adjacent sea-front promenade. Although we cannot guarantee a car parking space directly outside Can-Y-Bae it is unusual to have difficulty parking close by (obviously weekends in summer and public bank holidays are busy periods). Car-Parking on the promenade is a 'pay & display area' from 10.00am until 4.00pm daily at a maximum cost of £4.50 per day; disabled badge holders park Free of Charge. From 4.00pm until 10.00 am daily car-parking on the sea front promenade is both Free of Charge and Unrestricted. We hope this will answer your question, please do not hesitate to telephone us on 01492 874188 for further information or to check our current availability. With Our Best Regards, Michael & Dave Can-Y-Bae, Llandudno
