Hotel only has for us a slight problem in that my wife had a problem with the steps into and out of the hotel. A ramp would be helpful for anyone, like her with mobility problems. We have to say though that the room is spotlessly clean, the staff go out of their way to be helpful and the food is excellent. It would be worth noting also, with regard to parking, blue badge holders are much better catered for, at least in the Conwy council area, than anywhere in England. You can where you want for as long as you want, except on coach bay's and bus stops. You don't need the clock on the badge!
We were treated like VIPs by the staff from day 1.
The decor is probably 1980s style but it's condition looks virtually new but who's bothered?
We got what we wanted at a reasonable price and would definitely stay again.

We booked this hotel early in the year and apparently it has since changed ownership.
The Christmas break we had booked turned out to be fantastic.
About two weeks before we traveled we we’re contacted and asked did we we if wanted Christmas dinners which we had not arranged so we said yes and again this meal could not be faulted.
I have stayed in bigger and so called better hotels but whilst this hotel had a smaller breakfast selection the quality of the cooked breakfast selection was one of the best.
Thanks for a great Christmas vacation.

I assume all hotels should be clean so that goes without saying, I also try to based my review based on value for money, so I am not down rating if a £50 a night room does not have a swimming pool.

All in all a very fair price for what is on offer, friendly staff, and good facilities for a hotel in this price range, a big enough restaurant with allocated times, a separate bar, seating areas indoors and out. The breakfast was also very good, certainly I would not hesitate staying there again.

Must say all staff from check-in to bar to breakfast where lovely
We paid £73 for what I would describe as a very small double with a very small shower
Everything was very clean and bed was comfortable, but the room was tired and dated. En-suite had tiles missing at back of toilet and ceiling needed finishing off. No where to put toiletries as sink was tiny with no shelf space.
Tea and coffee facilities in room but sadly only paper cups provided. No glasses provided.
Breakfast was self serve downstairs with a 30 minute dining slot!!
Cereal and juices fine but the hot buffet we found quite bland and filled up on toast..
For £73 and the decent reviews I would have expected more

Sooooo, my boyfriend and I stopped here for two nights- Saturday to Monday, and having read the previous reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect; I booked it as it was a last minute trip we needed somewhere to stay as we were going to the zip caverns on the Monday and wanted to make a weekend out of it.

When we checked in the man at the front was really nice and we checked in really quickly.

Because I booked last minute, on booking.com, they only had a twin room left and we were given room 213. When I walked in i though of this is quite nice and then as I looked around the room and got settled I noticed some issues.

There was a lot of aesthetic issues like peeling wall paper, holes behind the draws and holes were things had previously been screwed in the bathroom. The tap in the bathroom was so loose and had been stuck on a block of wood and it leaked. The kettle had a hole in it so we couldn’t fill it past a certain point, the mattresses felt very old and you could feel the springs really badly. The pillows were way too thick to sleep on and resulted in sleeping with no pillows.

When I moved the curtain to shut it a dead fly dropped from the pleat which wasn’t pleasant and I know this cannot be helped but the room looked onto the back of the hotel and was so loud with seagulls until 3/4 in the morning and I had a horrific sleep.

We were told that if we do not want our room cleaned then to tell the person on reception by 10am and we told him at 8:45am and went out for the day. We came back to our room made and they had done a half ar*ed job of cleaning. They made the bed, took the spoon out of a snack pot I had and left it dirty on the side, left the used cup with tea in it and left my eye mask on the floor face down. Because we didn’t expect anyone to go into our room we hadn’t tidied round and so I had left items out that I would have moved had I known it was going to be cleaned, but we did say for no one to enter and this really annoyed me, and especially my eye mask being left on the floor as I couldn’t use it after. What I do not understand is why there isn’t a door hanger that says either e clean or do not clean like any other hotel!

Now the only positive really was the breakfast as this was buffet style and the food was really nice. However, no one tells you how you get toast as there is no machine and we wasn’t told when we checked in. We heard a lady knock on the kitchen door and ask for it so we did the same, and the man just didn’t want to be there you could tell.

Now the pictures on Google made it look like the dining room had table cloths and was neatly presented, but it is in the basement and is like a cafe style with just wooden style tables, and not like the cute pictures shown on Google.

I think if you stopped in a more expensive room it may be better based off pictures with the bay window on Google, but for meh it was below average and I wouldn’t stop again, but I would have the breakfast again as this was very nice, and the man who checked us in and the woman who checked us out were really nice too.

A great welcome from Sam and good company from Stefan made us feel valued customers in this very clean and reasonably comfortable hotel in a good position just off the promenade. We had a basic double room which was OK with a fairly comfortable bed, but the en-suite was very small, with a tiny shower which released water extremely slowly!! Breakfast provided excellent choices and was good value.
If you just want somewhere to rest your head whilst visiting Llandudno look no further than this warm, welcoming hotel - nothing is too much trouble for them.

Last minute 2 night weekend booking via Booking.com. Initially chosen as it was the cheapest option available and the reviews were better than the alternative accommodation. Small twin room on the top floor involved 6 sets of stairs but I hasten to add that there is a lift available for anyone with mobility issues. Beds were very comfy, good hospitality tray with ample tea, coffee and long life milk pots. En-suite was very snug and you had to bend, twist and turn to access the shower but the water was hot and plentiful. Brilliant free WI-FI too. Hotel positioned just off the main shopping street with some free overnight parking outside if you could find a space. Alas, in line with the majority of parking in Llandudno it is chargeable during the day unless you can find a space on a side street.

Breakfast is superb, one of the best on offer in Llandudno. Staff are brilliant, extremely polite and helpful. Some reviews have stated that the decor is dated but I have to add that it is spotlessly clean, including all the communal areas and especially those 6 flights of stairs! Whoever hoovers them definitely takes pride in their work as they are immaculate, and that can’t be easy given the amount of foot-fall they must encounter each day.

Without hesitation we would definitely return to the White Heather Hotel in Llandudno.

My husband, my son and I stayed at this hotel as we came to play a concert at the Bandstand on the Promenade. We all arrived at Reception and was asked what evening meal we wanted for the day after before we went to our allocated rooms. We had a family room between us. The room was certainly in need of a wallpaper and curtain update, but apart from that, it was roomy and comfortable and ideal for our needs. The only thing that bothered me was that there was no access for disabled wheelchair/scooter users. I did however ask Reception if I could bring the scooter inside and he happily obliged. My husband and son carried my scooter up the 7 or so steps. Breakfast was a delight, there was fresh fruit, yoghurts, croissants and cereals. Buffet breakfast was help yourself. Everything cooked perfectly apart from the grilled tomatoes which unfortunately were hard. Evening meal had a selection. of different dishes on offer. My husband and I started with melon with raspberry coulis for my son., a prawn cocktail for my husband and for myself a homemade lentil soup. All of the starters were beautifully presented. The main meal my husband and I had was a lamb shank in a lovely gravy, new potatoes with carrots and peas, my son had the chicken curry with rice and a nan bread. A selection of desserts. We had apple strudel with single cream, profiteroles with cream and a half pint beer glass full of trifle. The lamb shanks were so tender the lamb fell off the bone it was to die for. The beds were too comfortable and sheets, pillowcases and duvets were immaculately clean. This hotel is definitely a little gem and is very welcoming so near to Llandudno attractions as it is a few strides from the beach. Ideal location.

Stayed from Wednesday to Saturday with my partner. The hotel is abit dated but extremely clean from what I saw. We stayed in the Blue room (305) as I called it due to it being busy blue and matching curtains, which made me giggle as I said when booking I'll bet we end up in the blue room, there are 40 rooms and two blue ones. Our room was serviced each day. The staff are fabulous and chatty and the breakfast that was included was a buffet cooked breakfast and was delicious. Even though it was nearly on the front it was a peaceful nights sleep and could even hear the waves of the sea. A sea view is a side view but we saw enough to be pleasant to look at. I would definitely visit the hotel again. Slap bang in the middle of the shops and a two min walk to the pier and the happy valley gardens. A short walk uphill to the tram up to the summit of the Great Orme which was lovely and the cable cars are at the top of the happy valley gardens a little hill but no big deal as the views stop you walking anyway to admire.
