I had an overnight stay in business and was allocated room 104. The room is adequate but the bathroom is very small having to squeeze down the side of the toilet to close the door. There is also no where to hang a towel to dry once used so if you shower on an evening expect to

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I am sorry to read that your stay was 'nothing special' as we aim for far better than this. There should be a number of places to hang towels in the bathroom, a towel rail and a hook on the back of the door should be present which I will have my housekeeping team check to ensure these are in place. I apologise that you were disturbed during your stay by noise from a plant room and general noise from the corridor, if you are a light sleeper, the next time you are staying with us please inform the front desk that you require a quiet room and we will do our best to allocate this for you. So my normal trek to Ipswich. This hotel has always been good at the basics. I like to be left alone and it has served me well. However it has been recently refurbished and what a fantastic job. Bar area is great and the new menu looks good.

We are a large Business operating from the west side of Ipswich 5 minutes drive from the Holiday inn. Over the years we have used the inn as a convenient place to meet offsite for those occasions when discretion is required. The formula has never wavered, meet in the bar order

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I am sorry to read that you and your colleagues have received parking charges whilst using the hotel facilities as this is not our intention. The car park at the hotel remains free of charge for all hotel guests provided the vehicles details are registered at one of the terminals located inside the hotel. I appreciate it is frustrating and annoying to receive parking charges and rest assured I will be speaking to the team to make sure we are doing all we can to inform all of our guests of the procedure to follow, there are numerous signs/notices in the car park and also inside the hotel itself to inform guests that there is a car park management system in place at the hotel and the procedure to follow to avoid situations such as this. The car park management system was introduced to improve the security of the car park and to ensure there are always adequate parking spaces for hotel guests at all times. As the hotel is located just off the A14 and is not in the town centre we were finding many vehicles were being left on the hotel car park who were not patrons of the hotel. As you and your colleagues were all guests at the hotel there should be no problem in having all of the charges cancelled with the car park management company.
