Here we are again. Lost count now. 5th or 6th visit. This is such a little gem of a place. So well situated for the Ferry for me to visit my daughters but just far enough out at Sandbanks not to be in the hustle and bustle of Poole. Hotels must hate me with my OCD. I just check everywhere... More

We have just had a lovely week's stay in The Mariners. Yvonne, the Proprietor, is a lovely friendly lady. Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, bright and fresh. For breakfast every day we couldn't resist the fresh fruit that included mango (yum, yum), strawberries & other fruits & natural yogurt. We followed this by a freshly cooked hot full... More

I recently stayed at the Mariners for 2 nights and found the guest house to be in an excellent location, charming, and spotlessly clean. Yvonne provided a wonderful (and healthy) breakfast, including gluten free porridge for my travelling companion. Yvonne's recommendations for local restaurants was very helpful and I was even given a 20% discount at one of her recommended... More

I thought it would be a nice birthday treat for my partner to stay at Mariners guesthouse. And due to a lot of other accommodation being booked up. This guesthouse stood out from the rest. And after reading untold reviews online. I must say that I am very happy to have made the choice to stay here. Yvonne is very... More

we spent 3 nights at the Mariners over the bank holiday and found it just as good as previously. Yvonne is a great host and we enjoyed chatting with her. Breakfast was superb - good choice, nice and fresh. We will be back again!

Despite arriving late, due to summertime traffic, we were made very welcome by the proprietor, Yvonne Donoghue. Our room was beautifully clean and comfortable, with everything you could want for any length of stay. The breakfast choices were many and varied - Full English recommended. Conveniently located for access to beaches, parks, shops and restaurants. Yvonne is a very friendly... More

What a special host Yvonne, at Mariner's is. She has that wonderful talent of making everyone feel welcome and special. Bright and bubbly, she has created a lovely, fresh and bright atmosphere for this traditional B&B which is in a great location backing onto Poole Park. Traditional cooked breakfast but also healthy alternatives with cereals, nuts and fruit. Thanks for... More
