We’ve just come back from a lovely break in Poole - staying at the Mariners Guest House at very short notice, when the hotel we were originally booked into was not suitable - we contacted the Guest House and Yvonne was very helpful and luckily had one room available. This place is really lovely, very clean and in a good location to walk to pubs and restaurants. Yvonne made us feel very welcome and I would recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in Poole - we thoroughly enjoyed our time there 😊
Comfortable room, delicious breakfast, lashings of hot water, close to shops and restaurants. Yvonne the hostess was very attentive and great fun. Very friendly atmosphere and felt like home from home.
I called at very short notice and was offered an nice comfortable room, I was also given advice on where best to go for an evening meal, that was a good recommendation too! Staying as the current health crisis ramps up added difficulties but all was dealt with as well and as carefully as possible Excellent breakfast and a friendly welcome all-round
Me and my dad stayed there last year as we are kitesurfers, and this time round, we decided to come back again.Beautiful rooms, beautiful breakfast, beautiful hotel 10/10 🔥 We will definitely be coming back again.
You can see that Yvonne puts a lot of effort in to her Guesthouse. From the fluffy towels and hand soap through to the cleanliness and tea making facilities in the room. Great Breakfast and WiFi... All in all very welcoming and top top stay. And to think I only chose it because of the off street parking !!
Loved staying here... gorgeous guesthouse, super clean, well decorated rooms and lovely breakfast. Landlady was really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back. Thankyou so much for such a lovely experience.
I've been coming to Bournemouth/Poole for several years and have stayed in a variety of different places - this was my last trip and rather frustratingly only now have I found the best place to stay. Ideally located, easy to find, plenty of free parking, a welcoming host, comfortable, a well appointed room, good wi-fi, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast (with healthy options). Highly recommended.
Arrived at The Mariners during afternoon. Parked up in the drive of guest house waited for proprietor to arrive as she was delayed but let us know beforehand. We were welcomed and shown to our room. Once settled in we explored the local area and was given some "pointers" of popular pubs, restaurants etc. We were also informed about the local bus service. This was an absolute winner for myself as we could use the service to travel in and out of both Poole and Bournemouth which meant that I didn't need to drive. Over 2 nights we had got a good night sleep and a hearty breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay at The Mariners guest house and the owner was very helpful, we would return again sometime.
