My family and I recently stayed at your guest house, and I can honestly say that nothing was too much trouble for you. Your rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and being able to help ourselves to breakfast when we wanted it, and at no cost is a great idea. We cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us, and if we are ever looking for a guest house in Poole, you will be the first place we look.

Hello and thank you for your kind words and we appreciate you taking the time to leave us a lovely review! Considering that you were here because of a family member being seriously ill in hospital. We hope your daughter is recovering well and that you are all getting back to some sort of normality! We look forward to seeing you again! Just give me a call! :)

We have just stayed here for 1 night and it is a really lovely, well kept Guest House. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival by the owners which is always nice. Our room was very spacious with tea and coffe making facilities, lots of choice and biscuits too. It is situated about 1 mile from the town quay, but there is a bus stop directly opposite where the route one bus stops, so it is easy to get there. Nice little pub close by that is ok. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We stayed 4 nights at this lovely B&B - we were given a warm and friendly welcome.

The rooms are spotless and the bed really comfy plus a real bonus having a bath in our family room. There are lots of nice little touches - chocolates biscuits, post cards with stamps already attached plus fresh cold milk for your tea and coffee from the fridge downstairs.

Although advertised as room only there's a small breakfast room where you can make your own toast / hot drinks and have a bowl of cereal - this worked perfectly well for us as there are only so many full breakfasts you can eat on holiday!

The property is on a main road, but to be honest this wasn't problem - there is a bus stop right outside with buses every few minutes to the main terminus in Poole.

There's a nice walk into Poole harbour via a lovely park - takes about 30 mins to get to the (numerous) bars and restaurants in the old town.

A taxi back on an evening was about £6.

All in all we loved this B&B, it offers great value for money and we would highly recommend it :-)

Hello! We were so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us! Your comments were lovely! Thank you! We try to make the guest house as friendly but private as possible to ensure an enjoyable stay for our guests. As you know we are Room Only - but don't like the thought of our guests starving! Hence the complimentary breakfast! Glad you enjoyed it! We hope you stay in touch with via the website or Facebook! Kind regards, Louise

We stayed at the guest house for 3 nights in June. The moment you step through the front door you are made very welcome by the host Louise. The guest house is finished to very high standards. We were in room 1 which had a king size bed and a single bed in. The room had a bay window which gave you lovely views of Poole bay and Sandbanks. The bathroom is beautifully decorated and just like the rest of the guest house spotlessly clean and tidy. The only reason for not giving this lovely place 5 out 5 is the noise from the main road in the morning. If we ever go back to Poole again we would only want to stay here, Thank you Louise for letting us stay in your house which is just like a home from home

We really enjoyed our two night stay, our host Louise has made her guest house a real home from home, with WiFi, TV and a big selection of hot drinks and chocolate biscuits. Advertised as room only, Louise provides a complimentary breakfast of cereals and bread for the toaster, with many choices in the lovely guest chill out lounge. The bedroom really had the personal touch (fluffy towels, nice toiletries, even bath robes!) and very handy too - close to a nice pub and 20 minutes walk to the Quay, so good for the boat to Brownsea Island. Would thoroughly recommend the Fleetwater guest house.

We had a week at The Fleetwater and had the front twin for our son and the rear double for myself and my wife. Firstly the greeting we received was amazing and Louise made us feel like we were a family member that we hadn't seen for ages ! The family were friendly and 2 very polite and helpful young adults were always at hand. Lovely cup of tea upon arrival made for us. The rooms are spotless and in an immaculate condition with to many plus points to mention. Plenty of different teas, coffee, hot chocolate, bottled water and chocolate biscuits on offer in the bedrooms. The toilet/shower room again were spotless with lovely towels, shampoo's, conditioners, and all the other supplies Louise puts in the bathrooms.
The help yourself breakfast suited us superbly and again there was plenty to offer in tea's, coffe, cereals, toast, jam, marmalade the list goes on and on.
Myself and my family particularly liked the abundance of quirky nick nacks around the B & B, to plaques and the old fashioned suitcase in the hallway.
Louise also gives away free postcards !

This place is amazing and I cannot fault in anyway at all, It will be top of my list if I should be going to Poole again. Thank you Louise for making our little holiday very special.

What was supposed to be just a convenient overnight stop before catching an early ferry to France became a memorable start to the holiday.
The ensuite room was clean and comfortable with some 5 star extras eg branded bath robes . There was an extensive range of teas, coffee etc and access to fresh milk and even an ipod docking station/ charger
We thought we were having room only , leaving at 6.30am usually means that there is little point in paying for a breakfast. We were delighted to find we were able to help ourselves to our own breakfast . A selection of cereals and bread to make toast and various juices and teas provided a very substantial breakfast.
The owner Louise was very friendly and welcoming. A real home to home experience with a guest room with TV and games where you could eat a takeaway.
Great pity we were only staying one night

We stayed here quite by accident, from a nearby establishment having maintenance issues. We certainly were the lucky ones here. The Fleetwater Guest House was superb!! We definitely got the better deal. Louise and Amelia were lovely, friendly, knowledgeable and could not do enough for us during our one night stay, even offering us a lift to the ferry terminal. Amelia makes a wicked hot chocolate too! Spotless, comfortable, wonderful toiletries, super soft towels and robes, beds etc etc !!! Wonderful array of complimentary cereals, toast & preserves as well as a vast variety of drinks for breakfast. A real gem, as a visitor you will not be disappointed. Thoroughly recommended, we will definitely be back!! THANK YOU

This was my second visit to the Fleetwater Guest House. For personal reasons I needed a short local stay. My first was about 3 years ago but it is now under new ownership and a lot of updating has gone on. It's very much of a family atmosphere but what makes it stand out are the small touches which are there. When I booked, the family room was the only one which was available but at £45 I couldn't turn it down.

The room itself had a double and a single bed.Tea (an amazing selection), coffee and hot chocolate was of course on offer, still and sparking water and little choccie treats. There was also a radio alarm/ iPod docking station, phone charger, free wifi, emergency torch and hair dryer. Although the room overlooked a fairly busy main road, ear plugs were supplied and the view from the bedroom window lovely.

The new owners have made a decision not to offer cooked breakfast or dinner but to my mind there are perfectly adequate alternatives. A free breakfast of bread/toast cereals (even gluten free), and drinks are laid out in the dining room late at night so I was even able to have breakfast at 6.00am. Takeaways are allowed in the dining room for dinner if you wish but I had mine at the local pub (about a minutes walk away) where I received a 20% discount as a Fleetwater guest.

The dining room itself also has a TV, radio, fridge, books, games, puzzles, piano. There are so many more small touches which I can't remember offhand but suffice to say this guest house is a little home from home.

this place is not good at all for a safe house. not clean, rude and try to over rule situations when they have no authority to do so. if you’re thinking about going here from the bottom of my heart i think it’s the wrong thing for you to do.
