this place is not good at all for a safe house. not clean, rude and try to over rule situations when they have no authority to do so. if you’re thinking about going here from the bottom of my heart i think it’s the wrong thing for you to do.
I have stayed in this gorgeous little guesthouse several times now and I cannot find a single fault. The rooms are cosy and comfortable with everything you could possibly need from chocolate bars to bath robes! Even though this is not a 'B&B' there is a breakfast room where you can help yourselves to a range of teas, coffee, cereal and toast. Its a perfect location to explore Poole, and Bournemouth is a short bus ride away. Louise and her family go above and beyond to make your stay as perfect and comfortable as possible, they so welcoming you come away feeling like part of the family! I can not recommend this guesthouse enough.
Louise and her family were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The room was comfortable and clean. Brilliant powerful shower, comfortable bed and lots of biscuits provided! The help yourself breakfast was great. Our car broke down during our holiday and Louise really went the extra mile to help us out. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fleetwater guest house to anyone.
While we were searching for "the bed and breakfast area" in the small town of Poole, we drove all around and never found the area. Lucky for us, because we decided to just go on to the next town. On the way out of Poole, we saw a sign for this guest house, and even though a "no vacancy" sign was posted, we decided to ask if the hostess knew of another place where we might find accommodation. Louise was kind enough to let us stay there--she had a cold, which was the reason for the sign, but she took us in nevertheless. We had a lovely room and a very nice continental breakfast the next morning before going west. She suggested a place to eat dinner, the Shah of Persia, about 600 feet from her house, where there was a two-for-one special! All in all, we had a wonderful experience at this guest house, and I would highly recommend it to those traveling the coast road of southern England!…
This is a gem: Louise works hard to make this Guest House special and she succeeds. We were only there one night, but out of a 5 week journey, this stands out. You won´t be disappointed. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable, tea and coffee available. There is parking on the hard standing in front of the house.
