This is a cracking place. Rooms wonderfully clean and fresh. The breakfast is great, really great. The owners are very friendly and welcoming indeed. Fantastic. The Corner House pub/restaurant is very close by, but the walk to the town centre is pleasant enough. There is always the huge Tesco around the corner for wine and such if you plan to...

We stayed for one night, after a concert in Vivary Park, 10 minute walk away. Room was clean, fresh and very good, Great Wifi, ensuite was fine. We were welcomed with a smile and breakfast was quickly served and a great selection of cereals, fruit etc. Would happily stay here again, great location.

We stayed for just one night to attend a concert at Vivary Park. The location is perfect for the town centre and the park, both being about 10 minutes walk. The station is about 20 minutes walk away. Our room was lovely. It was a very large triple room at the front of the house on the ground floor. It...

This young couple are learning fast how to be a brilliant B&B. Lovely menu, and tastefully furnished rooms and dining room. They have obviously taken on an old house that still has some work to finish the upgrade (eg. half-done tiling), but the atmosphere they have created is lovely and quiet (despite being on a busy junction with 2 supermarkets...

The hotel was recommended by Roughmoor Farm, the venue for my son's wedding. The booking was very easy and the welcome very war. Jane was also able to find a room for a friend who booked very late! The breakfasts were delicious and the room was very clean. Jane also texted me to say that we had left a phone...

We chose Lowdens House for a one night stop-over on our way to South Devon. There was ample car-parking at the rear of the house, (entrance opposite the Tesco main entrance). We had asked for a room at the rear of the house so as to avoid any traffic noise at the front of the house. The room was well...

I stayed for two nights whilst visiting family. The lady who greeted me was very welcoming and friendly and she was very chatty each time I saw her. The breakfast was fantastic! The downside was that it was a very hot but windy weekend when I visited, but the binds were slatted ones and not fixed to the window. Therefore,...
