We only stayed the one night in passing through. Great parking, easy check-in, super sized and clean room, imaginatively designed w/c and shower room, breakfast included.
The breakfast was buffet style and had all the ingredients you can think of. Could not find a single fault, just enjoyed the breakfast so much.
A very clean buffet and eating area.

An overnight stop en route to the Lizard to see an aged aunt who had just moved into a care home. A very good location, just off the motorway. Easy to get into the town centre for good restaurants but quick to get to off the motorway and back onto it the next morning. Bright rooms, good quick food in the hotel with local good Pub style food nearby and very good selection of restaurants in Taunton a 15 to 20 minute drive away.
Good self service buffet breakfast.

Hotel close to all usual amenities - both local and travel
Room clean
Harvester next door for evening meal
Hotel room had buffet style breakfast included
Cost of one night stay for two with breakfast was £94.99 on booking.com. May have found it cheaper on other hotel comparison sites.

Booked two rooms to stay as attending a funeral the following day
The reception staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly
The rooms were really nice as well, very clean and had all amenities you needed
Whilst we didn’t have diner the food did look good
The bar area was very relaxed
Beds very comfy and I liked the shower, very large cubicle with an array of settings for the shower head
Breakfast the next morning was great, sausages and bacon especially nice. My only one comment was the plates could be a bit bigger. I know they’re probably this size to stop people taking loads and leaving it, but I just got a slice of bacon sausage small spoon of scrambled egg and a few beans on it. Had to then get a separate plate for toast
But I would stay here again and yes I would recommend it

I booked a three night long weekend stay here and found it to be excellent value for money with the grab and go breakfast included for £45 per night. Check in was prompt and I was booked in an hour before the scheduled arrival time without a hitch. Both receptionists were smart, courteous and efficient. The room was spotless and WiFi was also thrown in. Covid precautions were well managed. Ample free parking, a pub, garage and convenience store next door and a bus stop nearby to save the 45 minute walk into town. Thank you.

I cannot imagine what the few nay-sayers here expect for £65 per night, including breakfast. This is a clean, comfortable, modern hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. Parking is easy. The rooms are well-equipped and a wide range of toiletries are provided, free of charge, if needed. The rooms are air conditioned and secure. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are cleaned daily. The location is quiet at night and the curtains are blackout. I slept well. The bar is well stocked and there is plenty of room. The breakfast buffet, has fruit, porridge, innumerable cereals, toast, fruit compote, yoghurt, muffins, croissants, hot bacon, beans, sausages and scrambled eggs. The hot food was well prepared. There is a range of tea, coffee and fruit juice. There is plenty of seating and the tables are cleaned and sanitised throughout. There is a large, accommodating, reasonably-priced pub next door with a good menu for evening meals. In all I would recommend this hotel.

One night stay on way to Cornwall

Could not really complain about stay

Large family room for five plus dog

Room allocated near reception so easy to get dog outdoors when needed quickly

Room had two double beds and sofa bed. Sofa bed had sheets missing when we arrived but solved quickly by reception.

Breakfast was ok and decent for price paid for stay in a dog friendly hotel . You can eat with your dog as long as they stay on the tiled floor area.

Had a comfortable night sleep , there was air con and Electric Heather if you want them.

Would happily return if in area

Was using the hotel to break the journey up down to Cornwall, and it was everything it needed to be.

Reception and all the staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and had everything we needed for a one night stop. To pay less than £40 for a room including the breakfast represented excellent value. I’ve gave it 5 stars not because it’s a 5 star hotel, but for the money and what it’s intended to be you couldn’t ask for anything else.

Adequate room; some cobwebs around the edges at ceiling height and the room showed signs of wear in the decor. Simple things to rectify. Breakfast buffet included, but on both days we stayed items had ran out and weren't replaced. The on-site restaurant was very expensive and would avoid! 2 slices of garlic bread £2.50!! Also check when ordering for allergies as not everything is listed on the menu! We were caught out on that. Also, to have "run out" of food items that appear on most of the menu is pretty poor!
It served a purpose, the reception staff were good. A good nights sleep, and the black out curtains in the room were very effective.

Overall very standard hotel but didn’t expect too much more given the good value of the price. The staff attentiveness and cleanliness needs improving. Also very disappointed that food was not available to us when the slogan is ‘food available all day, anytime’ or something similar. It makes life with a sleeping baby in the room very difficult as can’t go out to eat.
Breakfast tables are cleared slowly and not wiped so always left with someone else’s sticky spillages.
Great location if in a car but for anyone not familiar with the area, it is not good if you are looking for local access to Taunton without a car.
