Wonderful comfortable b & b, great facilities and attentive personal service. Beautifully renovated old farmhouse. Directions on the website are accurate, don't use the address postcode! just keep a look out for the notice and track as you drive along the canal path, Well worth a visit.

Angee was the perfect host from our initial chat on the phone to her flexibility for my arrival and the breakfast in the morning. If you are thinking about staying here stop thinking and just BOOK!! It is a fabulous B&B that I can't say enough positive things about. The room was totally perfect, clean and exactly what I needed....

Sat Nav as has been previously mentioned does not find the place, I use four satnavs dedicated and on phone and all failed but a call to the owner remedied the problem. In a beautiful setting adjacent to the canal the Host is extremely welcoming and charming. One of the best nights sleep on a decent mattress in ages. Bathroom...

This place is quite difficult to find! If you use the postcode in your satnav it will take you to the wrong side of the canal! Follow the instructions on their website and you will be OK: it's worth it! I was given a very comfortable room. It was very clean and tidy. The bathroom was good and the shower...

What a gem of a place to find and stay at. I required 2/3 night accommodation in Taunton as I was coming down to watch the county cricket team play. As I would normally do I looked for hotels in and around the town center. I couldn't find any accommodation, possibly because of the cricket match attracting a fair amount...

Loved my stay here. Angee is so kind and helpful and welcoming and couldn't be nicer. Aginhills is tucked away (ignore sat nav and use instructions on website) just off the canal and incredibly quiet and peaceful (even the hens in the garden don't wake up until 7am and are quiet!) My room was a very generous double, overlooking the...

Stayed here for 1 night with my daughter whilst my partner was working nearby. The place itself is in the most idyllic of settings, away from any hustle and bustle but close enough to everything you require. The house is stunning and walking amongst the lavender to the front door is a delight! The room itself was immaculate, lovely, clean...

We were on the LEJOG route and this was one of our longer days. The welcome we received was just what we needed. Great room and fantastic breakfast to send us on our way the next morning. Beautiful gardens.

Very close to Taunton centre (about 5 minutes by car), by the Bridgwater -Taunton canal, Aginhills is an extended old farmhouse. I stayed two nights, one in a comfy single room with large en suite and one in a family room on the ground floor. Very quiet at night. The freshly cooked breakfast was excellent. Angela is very welcoming and...

A delightful, West Country farmhouse located in a surprisingly rural setting whilst being only minutes from M5 (Junction 25), Taunton Town Centre, Hankridge Retail Park and Priorswood and Crown Trading Estates. Nestling in the Somerset landscape and surrounded by fields, the unique location of Aginhills Farmhouse, alongside the Taunton to Bridgwater Canal, makes a perfect resting place for leisure travellers or tired business people who can escape the office and, within minutes, be in the seclusion of a homely, rural retreat. This traditional farmhouse has been recently, and sympathetically, renovated to provide 21st century facilities whilst still retaining many interesting original features. All rooms are equipped with modern en-suites, tea and coffee making facilities, TV/Radio with Freeview and DVD player, Wifi, and are double-glazed and insulated to a high standard. There is ample parking for guests but, for those arriving by train or bus, both the Bus and Railway Stations are only a short taxi ride away.
