We had an adventure. Would have been nice to be able sleep well . Breakfast was excellent but all other foods except for a sandwich avoid. The Gym and Spa staff were helpful and welcoming can recommend that. Beware, golf not on a weekend.

We ordered some calamari and fried halloumi to go with our wine sitting on the patio. It took an hour to come and was inedible so was sent back. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests and we heard several complaints in the short time we were there. We had been to the carvery earlier this year and it was dreadful then with the Manager explaining to us that bad service was to be expected due to covid! We have given them a second chance but will definitely now not be returning. One waitress who did impress us was Jess who tried to put things right.

The staff very friendly and helpful. I had a facial which was very relaxing. Again the staff were lovely. Really enjoyed the facilities including the pool, jacuzzi and relaxion room. We had an afternoon tea as part of this package. We sat outside in the sunshine. The grounds are lovely. The sandwiches and cakes were varied and very tasty. Would highly recommend this place and would visit again.

We booked this hotel for our 'mini moon' we were after relaxation and luxury. We upgraded to the Amstel suit after being told it had received a recent refurbishment. The room had been painted and new carpets however the bathroom was still dated. The sinks didn't work, all the drainage was poor and loud and the craftmanship was poor. The room itself was laid out nice with lots of space but out of the window was a rundown courtyard and the delivery area where lorries visited. The bed was also rock hard!! We complained and management did respond. The bar areas we're lovely and bar staff were good. Breakfast was a good selection of buffets however staff certainly were not 4* staff. The evening meal turned out to be a buffet, we were extremely disappointed with this, if we knew this was the only option we wouldn't of visited. It was average food in an over heated and packed room, again not 4* staff. We choose the location due to spa facilities, there were ok however we couldn't book any treatments as they were full, again very disappointing. We also found ourselves in the evening sat next to guests who had bought their own alcohol to the outside seating while smoking weed! Overall we were very disappointed and will not be returning or recommending!
