The Clarendon was the first hotel with vacancies we spotted as we drove around Skegness looking somewhere to put our weary heads. Skegness wasn’t our destination, but we hadn’t visited the seaside town before so we decided to give it a try. We were greeted by a friendly and cheerful chap who cheered us up. The room was okay, especially...

Luckily the music was so loud could hear it from our room...happy hardcore my 4 year old favourite. Breakfast had been microwaved no fresh option. The egg bounced!!...

We visited 3 years ago & we couldn't find fault, however when we returned in June 2016 we found the place utterly filthy, the owner was the same but his attitude to his business was that he could not be bothered. Him & his drinking buddies took over the bar in the evenings, drinking far too much & creating a...

The rooms were below average and were barely suitable for a one night stay. Cigarette burns on the duvet covers. Bath towels stained and fraying at the edges. Stains in the pillows. Furniture desperate need of replacing due to missing handles and drawers not opening. But the main issue I had was that the "disco" was purely for the locals...

Oh what a mistake we were met on our arrival and rooms etc were explained to us, also about the fact that there would be a...
