Was a little apprehensive post covid as we didn't wish to be smothered with over the top rules. Chris and Melanie are perfect hosts who have done everything to protect us following guidelines but neither did we feel we'd be shot if we momentarily forgot to put a mask on when required. They are a lovely couple who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Mel greeted us with a brief overview and Chris showed us to room number 9. We're a self sufficient couple so from then on the only times we saw our hosts were at the breakfast table. Mel cooked these to perfection while Chris ran around pandering to all the guests. They both graft so hard and their desire to please is genuine and appreciated. Our room was wonderful although we were out and about for the most part. It had everything we needed and we were asked daily if we required anything further. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Covid has smashed this industry and these owners deserve our total support so I'm happy were were able to do such. Mel and Chris, thank you both very much. We wish you every success. For anyone reading Skegness hotel reviews as we did you can stop now and book the Northdale ........you will not be disappointed.
